“Shan is an exceptional craftsman and energy efficient builder. I was on a number of his jobs and his work was above and beyond the quality of anyone else in the area. I highly recommend Shan and would use his services if I was building. I was a supplier to Shan for a number of years of prefabricated building systems and materials. I visited most construction sites and Shan built some exceptional homes of complex design. Shan was always competent, very professional, detail oriented, and honest. “I have worked with Selle Valley Construction on a number of projects and am always impressed with their level of service and communication to their customer. They work hard to respect their customers budget limitations and they are clear from the beginning about the budget they are shooting for so it makes my job easier since I know which products to direct the customer toward. They do this whether it is the smallest remodel or the largest custom home and that is why they have such good reputation and get additional work based upon referral from past customers and vendors. In a small town like ours reputation means alot since you see your customers at the grocery store, post office, etc.”

“You hear horror stories all the time about builders. Not at all my experience with Tobacco Valley. Our home was done on time, on budget and with so little stress. I can't focus on that enough. The process was, dare I say wonderful. I would build with Keith and his crew any time. My house turned out EXACTLY like my dreams. I love these guys. Some specifics: this was the only company that welcomed sweat equity and let us help build it. But there was never a time there was not someone to help, guide, and offer advice for us as most of the things we did we had never tried to do before. I had the basic design, but Keith helped me make it more efficient and make changes necessary for codes and good building practices. They helped guide us to the right subcontractors and stores to pick cabinets, floors, etc. Every thing was done in the time frame we set out. When I made changes, fortunately not many, it was like I asked for the time of day. It was effortless, at least for me. There's lots more, but it was all good. Having built 2 houses before, I can honestly say this was the best experience. Laura Garner”

“I hired this company to remove existing kitchen cabinets and replace with new "ready made" cabinets. I also had them remove two old sliding glass doors in the living room and replace them with a French door and a picture window. This is a 30-year-old log cabin and several adjustments were required. Jeff and his crew arrived on time and went right to work. The kitchen was completed in a little over two days and the door and window were completed by the end of that week. There was minimal mess, which they cleaned up, and the work was superb. The kitchen now looks like a custom kitchen and is beautiful. The logs around the openings for the door and window had to be trimmed and both units fit perfectly, are well sealed and the new trim, inside and out, is beautiful and fits the log cabin perfectly. This company is very professional, easy to get along with, and communications were excellent throughout the project. The standard of work is excellent.”

“I am the owner of a custom home building company in Colorado. We recently began the search for a custom log home company who could produce the log package for a very complex home near Steamboat Springs Colorado. An architect acquaintance suggested I look at Caribou Creek Log and Timber. After reviewing bids, capabilities and personalities from 3 companies we moved forward with Caribou Creek.
