“I worked with Nest Design and Contracting to build two fences for my yard. Steve put so much creativity and expertise into the design. My fences are beautiful, functional and add value to my home. It was easy and fun to work with Steve and his team. They’ve also helped me with subsequent smaller projects and always explore various budget options and styles. I highly recommend Steve and Nest Design. I’ll continue to work with them as I improve my older home.”

“Dan Misek was hired by Eurtton Distributions to install a kitchen in this over 100 year old cottage on Wallace Island. I was the Design Consultant, hired to design and oversee the project. It was a challenging task to install cabinets on uneven floors, walls that weren't square and a ceiling that was only 84 inches. Dan overcame many obstacles such as briddle subfloors, that had to be rebuild, existing build-ins that were so out of square that the new cabinets would not lign up to it. Dan's exceptional Carpentry skills paired with a lot of patience for detail turned this project into something amazing to look at, prestine workmanship at its finest!”

“Steve and his wife are a fantastic team! They give you an upfront evaluation of your plan and guide you through the prosess with true professionalism, Steve assesed our needs and was able to navigate through our unique craftsman home. Always giving us updates both good and bad which comes with owning an older home. They are dog lovers and they even took our dog for an overnight stay at their house while some foam insulation work was being done! Cookies at Christmas were also an added touch of their personal friendly approach to custom home renovation!”

“Daniel and his team were great and we would not hesitate to recommend them! We moved into an older home in the Prince Edward County area. Prior to moving in we needed to remove baby blue broadloom that was the same age of the house. We also needed to lay a sub floor and new floor in most of the basement. Daniel not only provided and stuck to his original quote, finished on time, but he also provided guidance on the type of floor surface and composition to use. Through out the entire process the highest level of professional was maintained. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to the highest standard. We are already discussing additional projects at our home and we without a doubt hire Daniel and his team!”

“Bruce was recommended as an excellent painter, and he is, but he does wallboard, insulation, electrical, plumbing, flooring (of all kinds) and many other jobs. He is prompt, hard-working, VERY careful, and always cleans up. In short, he is terrific!! I understand that he does great concrete work and wood work but we haven't had him do that (yet). He has worked for us for 5 years as we slowly renovate and clear up problems.”

“We hired David to build a pergola for us and, he not only built a beautiful pergola within our budget, he took the time to repair and improve our deck. These repairs were not within the scope of work he was being paid for and he did not ask for additional money, despite the fact that our budget was fairly small, and the additional work took him half a day to complete. David was also very professional, sincere and charming. I highly recommend David and would not hesitate to hire him again. Jackie and Garry Garrington”

“Dowling Contacting did a few home renovation projects at my place of residence during the past three years. The work was done by two or three men and all of them were very proficient. There were no nasty surprises or anything else that could possibly lead to time delays and/or price increases.
