“I recommend McCarthy Construction – I am delighted with the renovation works they did to my house. We had an extension built to give us a sun room with underfloor heating so we can use this room all year round and a new kitchen and bathroom. From the outset John McCarthy was very professional, discussed our needs and came back with a detailed quotation and timeline. Half way through the project we changed our mind and he was able to accommodate our new requirements and still stay in budget. His team were very professional – we were living in the house whilst the works were carried out and each evening they tidied up and made sure there was minimum amount of disruption. John made regular visits to inspect the work and we received a quick progress review each week right up to project sign off. The most important aspect of his company, in addition to the quality of work, is that he kept within our budget and agreed timing, when he started the project – his team did not leave until the works were finished and we are absolutely delighted. “Hackett Construction built our extension recently and I would highly recommend them for anyone considering similar projects or new builds . They are highly professional and experienced and their attention to detail is exceptional . They gave us invaluable advice along the way and were always willing to adapt and change if we had ideas or went away from the plans. We found them very approachable and accommodating to our needs and any anticipated problems or challenges were dealt with promptly and with no fuss. The finished product is of a very high standard and their skills and craftsmanship is obvious when viewed . They completed each task with precision and detail and ensured we were informed and approved of everything. We are very grateful to them and are extremely pleased with the end product.”

“The Big Man Tiny Homes team delivered my dream studio! JP really listened to our needs and came with great design ideas during the consultation process; He was more than happy to accommodate requests throughout and was also sensitive to our budget. The studio was completed to an amazing standard and in really good time. The whole team are true craftsmen and took great pride in their work. We love the details in the cladding and the steel framing makes the studio look like it is floating, a really cool affect! We could not recommend these guys more highly!”

“We used Modet for two jobs. They built a beautiful custom-made kitchen table and bench for our new home. Paul from Modet was professional and meticulous in his work. He viewed and measured the space in advance and delivered the table on time, we were really happy with his work and the modern design. He also worked on a custom made TV unit and shelving for our sitting room which had an alcove and tricky uneven walls. Again the work was precise and his design was flawless. We would thoroughly recommend Modet.”

“We used Willie to upgrade our attic to an office/movie room. We are completely satisfied with the outcome. They did an excellent job, were always punctual, and left the house spotless each day after they completed their work. We had a small baby in the house during the build and the lads made every effort not to disturb her. We asked them for some specific work to be done regarding power outlets and soundproofing which they completed to an exceptionally high standard. We are overjoyed with the results. We can now watch movies on our sound system at a high volume without disturbing anybody else in the house or our neighbours. They were reasonably priced for the quality of the work carried out and the materials used. They used only the highest quality materials to create the highest quality conversion which will be crucial if we decide to sell in the future. They were very communicative. I was away on business for much of the build but I was kept informed of their progress throughout. An anecdote that may impress on you the quality of their work and character. Some of the taps in my home were not flowing very freely. Willies plumber noticed this as he was washing his hands and went ahead and fixed the taps in the house free of charge. I did not ask him to do this and in fact he didn’t even mention it to me afterwards. I only noticed it myself as he was leaving for the day. The build has been completed for a number of months now and having used to room on a daily basis since then my appreciation for the quality of work has only increased. As a result I am very happy to recommend the services of Busteed and Son Attic Conversions”
