“Excellent professional experience and service, in January 2017 started to have my kitchen extended with full new kitchen e.g under floor heating , new ceiling, plumbing ,electrical work, walls boarding and plastering. They recommended a great place to get my wall tiles, marbled flooring and everything was fitted with beautiful finish. All painting and decotrating was done by them within the time frame i wanted and around my budget. I would Highly recommend this company .”

“I would wholeheartedly recommend Matt and his team for any prospective project. Having had several renovations in the past that did not go well, my husband and I were incredibly nervous about selecting a building team for our garage conversion. We met with Matt who went through everything with us in great detail, providing us with accurate quotes, start dates and lead times. After the first couple of days of working with Matt we realised we had made the right decision. Aside from doing a great job his team were respectful, polite and always happy to answer any questions. Matt kept us informed daily as to who would be coming in, what time and what they would be doing each day. We could see the workmanship and quality from day one (which after our previous experiences was a complete). Initially Matt and the team were taken on to convert our garage to a studio and office for myself but afterward we continued to work with him to put right the things that previous builders had messed up (leaking extension, side wall that hadn’t been tied in, rafters in the extension roof that were completely rotten and concrete flooring which was breaking up). Matt managed to get everything done for us and our house is now in great shape. I can quite honestly say if another project ever comes up Matt Tromans would be the only person we would consider.”

“2nd Generation Building Services has completed two extension projects on my fairly ordinary 3-bedroom semi in Birmingham. In both cases, Nick Jones has projected managed the whole exercise wonderfully! Right from the beginning, there was full consultation about what I wanted and the project quote was very reasonable and detailed. Once accepted, I had a full project chart, which gave me a clear idea of how the project was going to pan out over several weeks. Nick has either been here, texted or emailed every day, so that I have known which professional to expect - builders, roofers, plasterers, electricians etc - and the timings have all been adhered to. He has been flexible about possible changes as we went along and has been an excellent source of advice throughout. I have confidently been on holiday and left him to it! “Absolutely brilliant! professional, polite, friendly, clean, listen, good ideas, amazing craftsmanship- both Paul & David know there trade incredibly well - they always talk through things first, never dismiss our ideas but told us the truth! Kept us informed throughout the project. Organised all trades from ordering and delivery to plumbers and tilers etc - can’t fault them - throughly recommend this company”
