“I had searched for several years for the right contractor to redo my kitchen. I tried several contractors on smaller home improvement projects or handyman jobs but they all were either poor communicators, poor quality or too expensive. I found New Line Remodeling on a Maryland Contractors site and Carlos was at my home the next day to review my handyman projects. He asked excellent questions, quoted a fair price and finished the first job I gave him the next day. I was so pleased, I showed him my kitchen and hired him to replace the countertops and cabinets as well as install a new garbage disposal and a tile backsplash. He worked with me on each step of choosing cabinets, granite, sink, under cabinet lighting etc. His network of granite and cabinet people were excellent as well! His attention to detail was even higher than mine (and I am picky) and the end result was gorgeous, on budget and a total installation time of 6 DAYS from tear out to being able to use my new kitchen. He even rerouted the mess of pipes under the sink for a more functional space. I ALWAYS recommend New Line Remodeling for any job in my home or my friends' homes. “Jobs: Master bathroom remodel including building a shower, wall and floor tile, painting, electrical and plumbing. Kitchen backsplash tile installation. Project was completed on time and on budget. Design was excellent and implementation was great. Made improvments in the design as work progressed. Workers were very careful to minimize dirt and dust during demolition and construction. They went with us to tile and plumbing fixture stores to advise and help in the selection process. Was known and recommended by suppliers. We would definately recommend Creative Remodeling and Design for bathroom and kitchen remodeling.”

Looking for a GC I trusted was another painful process. “A friend recommended Dreamwork Home Improvements in 2011, and I have not used any other company since and here are some reasons why: * Responds quickly by phone or email. * Is always on time *After reviewing the job, a proposal for the costs is received either later the same day, or by the next day by phone or email; and a written proposal is handed to me when they walk in my house, outlining the work to be done and the costs so there are no mistakes or surprises. *Is very pleasant and will chat a bit, but does not stop working to stand and talk, and talk. * The workmanship is outstanding and they take pride in what they do. *When the work is completed at the end of the day, the work area is straightened and trash is removed. * When the job is completed, Dave walks through everything with me and makes sure I know what was done, why, the results, and how to care for products or applications,. He does not leave until I am completely satisfied. *In this review the question of approximate project date is asked. I started using Dreamwork Home Improvements in June of 2011 and have used them consistently with the last job ending February 2013. I plan to have them come back for another project soon and will always choose Dreamwork Home Improvements.”

“We used Wenger Contracting to finish our basement in 2016 and we are very happy with the quality of the work and the service provided by Wenger Contracting. The owner/general contractor Todd Wenger was meticulous in planning and executing the project. His core team of workers were very professional, courteous, respectful, and completely trustworthy. For the three-month period it took to finish our basement, we were at work and our kids were in school and our house was in the care of Todd and his team. Through the planning process and throughout the construction, Todd provided just the right amount of guidance and suggestions along the way as we made our selections and decisions on the details of the work to make sure that the final product and our expectations actually matched in the end. The basement project was quite large with many decisions to be made regarding various structural items, layout, as well as many aesthetic features but Todd made sure that every little details were executed exactly as we had discussed and no changes were made without us being aware of it so there were no surprises with anything including the financial aspect. All of changes that were made along the way were properly accounted for in terms of their impact on the final cost, i.e., reductions and additions were all appropriately accounted. We loved the way our basement turned out and our kids and we are enjoying our basement very much.”
