“Our Vermont Cape was remodeled from top to bottom by Peregrine two years ago - right down to the studs. We had a preliminary meeting with Architect, Cliff Deetjen and Owner Tim Frost and never looked back. Every interaction was a joy and we had them come back a year later to remodel the basement! The process was seamless, from the initial sketches to the final walk through, and when we had design ideas they were incorporated beautifully. The lead carpenter and the rest of the crew have left their stamp of quality on every inch of the house. The house is backed by woods and Cliff immediately realized the importance of creating a relationship between the house and the surrounding environment. The house now is full of light, the kitchen radiates warmth from handcrafted cherry cabinets, the master bathroom glows with a maple vanity and beautiful blond stone tile. We feel like we'll always have a friendship with Peregrine and all the wonderful vendors (tiler, cabinetmaker, stained glass artist, painter, electricians, plumber, appliance supplier) who worked on our home.”

“This was our first time building a house and we were a bit apprehensive of how stressful and difficult the process would be. Nate and his team were fantastic! We were included as much as we wanted to be, adjustments and design changes were welcome, the entire project was well organized, and any issues or concerns that we had were addressed quickly. Everyone that we worked with was friendly and I've found Nate to be extremely fair in each of the situations that we worked together. We worked primiarily with Jamie and he was excellent at communicating what was going, worked quickly to resolve any problems, and was always friendly, professional and approachable. Even after closing, communication has been easy and open. We love our new home and we're very comfortable with it. If we were ever to build another house, I'd build with Nate and Jamie without a single concern. It was a great experience!”

“Red House was our GC for an eight month gut renovation of an 1840's farmhouse. They were fantastic to work with from the first call to their office thru the finishing touches just after we moved in. They provided ideas and consulted throughout the design process, sharing options for needed products, vendor and retail suggestions. As some items inevitably changed during construction they were understanding and willing to adjust. They ran a very neat construction site and kept the project on time. Chris Quinn oversaw the project from a business/planning perspective, David Matesi was point person on site (and a talented blacksmith!) and worked with Dave, Nate & Arna - a great team all around.”

“My wife and I built our dream home in Stowe, Vermont. Our relationship with Travis Cutler a partner at Donald Blake was most enjoyable, considering the size of this undertaking. We established a fixed price at the out set and knew any extras would be an additional cost. My wife who is an interior designer and who designed the whole house was very efficient and made sure all details would be submitted on time. So from the original estimation of 19 months the house was completed in 16 months. Our architect Cushman Design Group did not need to supervise, since he had complete confidence in the builders capabilities. All the crew were very professional and they took great pride in their work and it showed in the finish product. We would highly recommend Donald Blake Jr. for any future building projects. “I have used Lewis Creek for a couple of projects. The first was some interior remodeling including a bathroom and front foyer and flooring for both (tile). They also subcontracted to an excellent wood floorer and recommended an excellent roofer. The second job was front and back porch installations. With both, work was timely and within projected estimates. The quality of the work was exemplary, and filled with suggestions regarding aesthethics and best choice of materials. This company has so much to offer, personable, pleasant people to work with, solid business ethics, with an eye to green if requested, detailed explanations and education if I asked. I will (and plan to to build a sauna ) hire them again.”
