“I have had Mac Renovations do several major projects on my house over the past four years, all of which have been of exceptional quality. The first big one was turning my unfinished basement into a two bedroom unit for my father, including kitchen and bathroom. They got it done on time and on budget. Mac has also overseen the painting of the exterior of my house, including managing several repairs needed during the painting process. Mac oversaw the new roof placed on my house as well, including undertaking repairs needed during the roofing process. In addition to these bigger projects, they've also handled some smaller jobs, such as my house's skylights, which started to show small signs of leaks after 20 years. They had someone here to measure and order the new skylights within hours, and they were installed within a week. They've also built exterior sheds on my property that are safe, secure and solid. I generally have left town during my renovation projects, and I have complete confidence that Mac will get my job done while I'm away. I trust them 100% with what is by far my greatest asset, my house.”

“All the support posts for our car port were rotten and needed to be replaced. The estimator from Kerr came over and reviewed the project. We discussed my requirements: demolition, post replacement, cedar siding and plexiglass windows. The estimate was acceptable and I gave the project the go ahead. Shawn was the contractor for the project. He was very pleasant. We reviewed the job and discussed his suggestions, all of which were positive. Shawn raised some concerns after the demolition. This resulted in additional work and materials. I was very concerned about the overruns but after conversations with Shawn and Dave I agreed to proceed. The end result is excellent. I will use them for future projects and would recommend them to anyone reading this review.”

“We were very impressed with Alair Homes when they built our home in late 2014/early 2015. One thing we have found outstanding is the work done under their warranty over one year later. No item is too small for them to fix up so the customer is totally satisfied with the work they did. Things like paint touch ups, nail pops and a cabinet door being a little out of line were fixed quickly. We had a wood beam at the top of our entrance which had twisted and they replaced the center beam and supporting timbers and it looks better than when it was first done. In talking to some other people who have had homes built by some other builders they have certainly not had the same level of service that we've had after the home is built. We only had to send one email to get everything done, where our friends had to harrass the builder for months to get some things fixed. This is something very important which people should check out when they hire a company to build their home.”

“We were introduced to Alair Delta, Peter Nielsen, by our designer SGDI. There were two contractors who submitted a detail plan and an estimate to us at that time. Our family decided to go with Alair Delta and we were very happy with Peter and the entire Alair team, and the outcome of their work. The project started right away as soon as both parties signed the agreement. It was dead in the winter with snow and ice, and the weather was grim with repeated rain days and nights. Alair team and our project manager Travis was there every day supervising the work and the trades relentlessly. It moved along very well until the renovation was completed. The delivery was a little delay due to a few undecided decisions on our part, but we were nonetheless extremely delighted to see how our home had transformed and how beautiful it is now compare to before it was renovated. Peter is professional, always keeps his promises, accommodating, and very easy to work with and talk to. His positive energy and outlook, and enthusiasm can be felt by everyone around him throughout the entire project. Peter and my son become good friends and I have nothing but only great things to say about Alair Delta. There are a few surprises that Alair had delivered with no cost attached to it. Alair charges the profit margin higher than other contractors/builders (partly due to its franchising rate) but the quality of their work in many aspects had exceeded our expectations. Travis, our project manager, was very approachable, friendly and detail-oriented, and very accommodating to our needs as well. Peter delivered exactly what we want in our home, and is willing to go extra miles to make some changes to accommodate our wishes. Peter and Travis were both very calm when problems arise. We were not so sure what our home would be like if we went with the other contractor. Fortunately we chose Alair Delta and we have come to love Peter and his team. The entire process was overwhelming but with Alair Delta, it was not as stressful as we had initially imagined. We feel strongly that we can trust Peter and his team to carry out the work with integrity. And of course we have Peter and Travis to thank for, for their dedication, quality workmanship, trustworthy, and professionalism.
