“Dan did an amazing job. He organised everything. Was easy to talk to. I couldn't believe how fast he got in and got the job done. The quality of his work i thought was to a very high standard. He always turned up. Money well worth spent. We had a granny flat we had been in the process of building and hadn't done anything on it for 2 years. We needed help. We decided to find a builder who could build our deck for us. It was about 18m x 9.5m (veranda on 3 sides) and was about 2m off the ground (the ground was elevated). A friend ended up recommending Dan to us. Dan also did the veranda roof, guttering etc and wire balustrade all the way around. Looks really beautiful. I also got him to build some internal shelving, put doors on, attach towel rails, mirrors and other bits and pieces. I'm so glad we did.”

“We hired Steve from BCI on the recommendation from a friend for a full renovation on the downstairs area of our home as well as an additional build of an attached granny flat. From the moment we met Steve we were impressed and at ease with his friendly honest approach. He was thorough & informative in letting us know the process at hand. Not only was his knowledge in building & renovating but he also has some wonderful creative ideas that helped with design, colours & interior choices. Everyone from BCI were extremely friendly, professional and worked incredibly hard to deliver an amazing result ahead of schedule. “We chose Smith and Son Renovation and Extensions Tweed Heads to repair our existing house that had extensive water problems due to initial build quality. Our first impressions of Andrew and Lynn were that they were very professional. Their office was nicely appointed and well presented and they appeared well organised and knowledgeable about the building processes and requirements. As a result we chose to move ahead with them and the renovation process began. From the very start they were well organised and kept us up to date on what was happening with the council and allowed us to choose the start date. The people working for Smith and son were amazingly polite, considerate and capable of high quality workmanship. While renovations can be tedious it wasn't this way. The workmen went out of their way to consider us and even developed a friendship with our son, who loved seeing them everyday. The project was quite a large one but we feel we got great value for money. While they are a business we didn't feel that we were a gold mine for the company and we felt that Andrew and his team were mindful of our budget. The paperwork was taken care of by Lynn who was exceptionally efficient. The end product is amazingly beautiful and no more water problems. We couldn't recommend Smith and Son Tweed Heads more vehemently and we are thankful everyday we chose them to do the work.”

“Creative Homes designed and built our dream home within budget and ahead of time. We’ve been a fan of the homes built by Creative Homes for some time – they create fantastic custom built modern pole homes that are perfectly respectful of the environment they share. We immensely enjoyed the design process. The Creative Homes team took our array of ideas and combined them with their own wonderful ideas to develop a home that surpassed our own expectations. The overall design was also made to work exceptionally well on the block of land that presented some unique challenges – a few steep slopes and a dry river gully immediately next to the building envelope that becomes a river in times of big rain downpours. The home build went incredibly smoothly and quickly – Creative Homes delivered the home a month ahead of an already tight schedule! The Creative Homes team were meticulous in providing us all the information we needed on the build process and chaperoning us through (in a productive, encouraging and occasionally prodding manner) the myriad of decisions we needed to make during the build itself. When we next build, it will only be if Creative Homes are willing to be our designer and builders again. Michelle and John”

“Having never built before Anstey have been great in leading us through the process. After being let down by another company before hand and having spent a good deal of our contingency budget we were very fortunate that a friend recommended Anstey. The build is not quite finished yet but well ahead of schedule. They have gone above and beyond with accomodating our requests and allowing us to work in some personalised fittings which were no doubt awkward for them. From the design team, to ground works, to project / site managers and even contracted trades, we have met one experienced and competent person after another. Each have been forthcoming with useful advice and steared us around logistical or fit-out design errors preemptively. They have a great reputation locally and it's not hard to see why.”
