“The first project was a kitchen re-do including a six foot addition plus converting the basement into an apartment. The work was very high quality and improved the outside appearance of my house. His bid was comparable to others and I liked the fact he worked by himself (except for subcontractors) rather than a large crew. He always had a solution for any problem during the construction and the job was completed on schedule and within the budget. Since then he has been back at least six times for smaller projects. I did not bother to obtain other bids for any of them. I would highly recommend this contractor - which I have.”

Matthew is very good at communicating and always responded in a timely manner to any questions I had. Also, this company does everything! I had them put in glass tile back splash in my kitchen, then they put in can lights in the ceiling, they repaired the transitions from the tile to the wood floors, put in sun tunnels, fixed the bathroom lighting, and fixed any area of my ceiling where there had been a leak. Everything was done professionally and looks super. I couldn't be happier, and I would definitely recommend Iowa Home Consulting for anything you need done.”

We took Nate in and showed him the needs of the house and right away the team started drawing up ideas to turn existing rooms into useful living spaces that were updated/modern, but still fit the flow of the house. We stayed on budget the entire time and they were quick and efficient with their work. If I had concerns or was curious on progress, a quick call or text was made and worries were set aside. Very easy to work with and very accommodating in terms of listening to what you need, what budget you're working with and timeline. They are upfront with you and i love it when someone can just shoot it to you straight. Would use for all future projects.”
