“Dec. 3, 2012 Dear Les, The new columns and railings look great! We had been planning to replace the columns and add handrails for quite a while but it took us forever to get to it. When I asked my daughter-in-law (who is a realtor) for a recommendation, with a moment's hesitation she recommended you. We are so glad she did. Your promptness was the first good sign, and from the first drawings to the completion of the project everything went smoothly. One other thing that really impressed my husband and me was that you always returned phone calls and emails right away, and I don't have to tell you how rare that is among contractors. Thanks for a job well done!”

“Ron Lucas totally remodeled our master bath, which was dark and outdated and gave the feeling that it was small and cramped. My husband and I basically knew what we wanted in a remodeled, updated 1973 bathroom, which still had original everything, down to paint. Our problem was finding someone with a creative vision of how to accomodate our needs in a creative, fresh way without adding additional footage and Ron visualed how we could. We opted to tear out sheet rock, ceiling, tile, fixtures, lighting, etc. He always presented ideas to us, right down to the smallest details, and we selected what would work best for us and our lifestyle. After Ron's first visit, where we decided on the work we wanted done, he presented us with an itemized budget. Every step of the way, Ron told us where we were, financially. There were no surprises at the completion of the project! We really like that! Ron has a professional and accommodating staff. Before they started the project, they came in and covered furniture and floors to limit the amount of dust and wear-and-tear on areas of our home affected by the remodel. After completion of the project, a cleaning crew came in and set areas back as they were. Ron made sure that we were satisfied with the end result. Also, his other staff were of exceptional character and integrity. They worked as quickly as possible and their work was excellent. His cabinet shop built the cabinetry that we wanted. Our vanity is exceptionally beautiful and custom made. Now, as we enter our master bath, there is an airy,open feel. We have made the best organized use of existing space. Our highest recommendation goes to R LUCAS Construction and Design!”

“Working with Don was a pleasure. We came in on the final stages of a home he was building and fell in love. Everything about this home was perfect for us. The quality of the home, the colors, the lot were all just as I envisioned a home for my family. After purchasing our home, I looked at some of Don’s other homes and there wasn’t a home he is working on that I would not consider for my family. His design is modern and clean. Don was very easy and quick to communicate with our realtor in response to any of our questions. We are very pleased with how smoothly the contract and closing process was with Don. “Real Life Builders and owner Jacquelyn Dixon came to our rescue after a tornado ripped through our neighborhood. We lost our roof, windows were smashed, fences ripped apart, and trees were uprooted like pesky weeds. It was devastating. Jacquelyn and her team stepped in and took over all the repairs. We stopped spinning in place, lost on what to do next. We were in good hands and were guided through all the steps we had to take to get back to our real lives. It was scary to see nature's power in your own backyard but Jacquelyn and her friendly caring team got us through. We now have a beautiful strong new roof. We were the first on our block to have repairs finished without one tiny compromise. Thanks, Real Life!”

“The ladies at L & M are wonderful! They are extremely easy to work with and even through the experience of your home being torn apart and in disarray, you feel like every detail is being taken care of completely. They think of everything at every step of the process. This was my first experience using a designer, and I was amazed at how well they observed my home, my tastes, my style (which I had no idea what "style" I was, as it seemed like I liked many). They listened carefully to my ideas, my concerns, my likes and dislikes. When they came back with their design ideas to present to me, they'd nailed it on the head! I loved every single thing and noticed how they incorporated my likes & favorite things into the total look. They also made me feel totally comfortable talking to them about any little concern. I absolutely love what they transformed my home into. I would use them again in a heartbeat!”
