“Dave is an excellent craftsmen, and intelligent builder. He returns calls on time, texts daily, and his pricing and work contract are very transparent We originally needed a window replaced, but the project morphed into a much larger project because of carpenter ants. He ended up having to replace all the shingling on one side of our house. Dave was very honest and clear on how the project escalated, what new costs were and gave us different options for budget and solutions. He encouraged us to go with a bit higher quality in materials, and we are really thankful we did the job right. It was late January and he and his fellow builder showed up in 10 degree weather for a week. His coworker was a pleasure to chat with every day, With 3 children at home, it’s important to feel comfortable with workers and I fully trust Dave and his Team. He always was meticulous with clean up. My one suggestion would be to understand his payment plan. We gave him a down payment and then wrote fairly substantial checks weekly. I felt like I was not always prepared with money in the bank to cover that week’s installments. I would prefer one deposit down and final payment at end but this was our only issue. His knowledge and expertise were worth it,! We were very pleased with the end result and quality of work and highly recommend him!”

“I used Clear Cut Design for a wet bar in our dining room and built in cabinets in our powder room. They both came out beautiful. His work is amazing quality and excellent craftsmanship. I appreciate his attention to detail and helpful feedback when I had questions while designing the built ins. He was extremely professional and personable throughout the entire experience. I would absolutely hire him again for my own home or my interior design clients.”

“Our project is not yet complete but at this point I can't say enough about the positive experience we have had with this company. Communication has been excellent. Attention to detail is great. The project has been on-schedule from the beginning. The sub-contractors working on the job have been terrific. And they clean up every night before leaving. We are very pleased and expect that when the job is done we will continue to be so.”

“Gerald does an excellent job, very hard working, creative with ways to fix problems easily and less expensively, and overall does an excellent job. He's quite professional and returns call promptly, plus does the work he promises in the specified timeframe. He has done multiple projects for us over several years, including painting the house, redoing decayed wood on porch, mending a fence, and once came urgently on a Saturday for a ruined ceiling (water damage). His work is clean and nicely done.”
