“DesignerBuilders has worked at my house on several occasions over the last half-dozen years (date below refers to the beginning of the first and largest occasion), performing such tasks as completely renovating a bedroom and bathroom, chimney-flashing repair, exterior and interior painting, storm-window replacement, and small excavation work and foundation pouring. The owner provides written estimates and bills and makes certain that the work is accomplished in a timely manner (which of course may be dependent upon the pace of suppliers and subcontractors). He and all employees are courteous and trustworthy, and all are extraordinarily knowledgeable about their jobs. The owner is well aware and enthusiastic about environmental impacts.”

He did a great job of working with our budget and helping to find finishes that stayed within our means but also gave us the look we were hoping to achieve in our home. “My contact has only been with Cassidy Cook. I will have to say he has been the nicest fellow I ever worked with in my life. He has been knowledgeable and kind and has explained every detail as we went along. He is what they call a Gentleman and a scholar. He pulled up pictures of shower stalls when I had questions on what kind to get and he has shown me inch by inch from the ground up while this was being built. He did things I asked special for such as a wider island and extra cabinets. Whenever I had a question he got back with me right away. He is a very good listener and does what he says he is going to do. If he can't do it he will say so.”

“They removed our Hardy Board siding that had been is talked without flashing, removed the rotten underboards. Installed new vinyl siding that matched the old hardy board on the whole house. Fixed areas of trim around windows and the roof that were peeling or rotten, as well. They were affordable, quick, thorough, and clean.”

“Mr. Port and his sons did an excellent job building my small dining room. I had inherited my mothers dining room furniture and no place to put it. We have a small house and a small budget and he listened to me. I ended up getting everything i wanted in my new room and it is lovely! They were always courteous, on time and professional. “Tim Olson, owner of Remarkable Renovations, is a thoughtful, trustworthy contractor who is a native of Louisville. We had Tim renovate our kitchen, install a Pavestone patio, and refinish our hardwood floors. He was patient as he helped guide us through our decision-making process, and all of his work was very well-done. Tim completes the majority of the construction himself with help from a carpenter, and coordinates plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work as needed. His rates were very fair, and he was very upfront with estimates throughout the process. We were thrilled with the final product and felt it accurately lived up to our vision!”
