“We hired Joseph So's Solid Rock Custom Contstruction Company to refinish several hardwood floors in our house built in the 1920's including a Brazilian walnut parkay floor. He came in with a very reasonable bid to do the parkay floor, 15 steps to a second story, upstairs hallway and two bedrooms with closets. The job was done professionally and on time. They minimized dust, and cleaned up after. They also went beyond the normal in repairing some rough spots where hallway joined the bedroom. We were very happy and would highly recommend them!”

“We had used Bichelmeyer Renovations earlier this year to put siding on one side, fix all the wood rot, and have the entire outside of the house + the trim painted. We were very pleased with their work, so went ahead and hired them to do our kitchen remodeling last month. We had new cabinets, back splash, countertops and new doorway and baseboard trim put in, as well as removal of the "popcorn" ceiling/"knock down" texture applied. We couldn't be happier with the final result. Bichelmeyer was easy to work with and the crew did a quality job. I would highly recommend them!!”

“MBD designed and remodeled TWO bathrooms to our exact liking. We contacted 4 other companies before finding MBD. Remodeling two entire bathrooms and expanding a shower in the master bath is a huge expense and a big decision and there are only great things to say about MBD. They were honest and provided various options with costs for each. The entire construction process was impressive, mainly due to the professionalism and knowledge of our Construction Superintendent, Greg, who visited the worksite constantly to ensure the high quality of work. Each time he visited the site, he met with us to ensure that we were pleased with the work, and to ask if we had any questions. Everybody at MBD has been great, and it is my pleasure to give them our recommendation, and sincere appreciation!”

“Kevin and his outstanding team did a full home remodel on my 1920's tudor in Westwood Hills, KS. The remodel including completely gutting and rebuilding the kitchen & 2.5 bathrooms (including all new cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, and all new plumbing fixtures), full plumbing and electrical upgrade throughout the houes, scraping all popcorn ceilings, replastering certain walls (to match a textured pattern - which is tough to do!), painting all walls and ceilings, and refinishing the hardwood floors throughout the entire house. The remodel is spectacular. I highly recommend Kevin and his entire team...they are fantastic, great communicators, and true craftsmen.”

He gave us his cell number and we could always leave a message, which he promptly returned, or would immediately answer his phone. Mr. Woods was always respectful and kind, even when we asked about things we just didn't understand. Overall our building experience was very positive.”

“Ian had been the main contractor for renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms over the span of 8 years, and we had so much respect for his attention to detail and professional demeanor as well as that of his staff, that we decided to have Hurst Construction handle the renovation of our present deck and front porch. Because there were structural issues with the original deck which was built in 1984, and brickwork that was needed to install new windows/doors, the project took more time than anticipated. The present home-owners association required clearance for the plans from the architectural committee and this delayed the project as well. Overall, however, the new deck is beautiful, and structurally more sound, the windows are more earth friendly which saves energy, and the new deck and porch more closely connect to the building structure originally built. Ian's construction workers were courteous, approachable, and consistently efficient in their work. We would recommend Hurst Construction for any home renovation, and feel that the result of several months of hard work really paid off.”
