“We hired Brad for two projects: a free-standing 2.5 bay garage and to finish our basement of approximately 800 square feet. The garage was built strong and sturdy, and matched the style of the home as requested. We especially like the small dormer built in the front. It gave the garage a little character, and matched the home across the driveway. I appreciate the loft space above the garage doors: perfect for storing patio furniture and the second sets of tires for the cars. No more scraping for us! The finished basement added a ton of living space to our home. Brad's recommendation of a drop panel ceiling was a good one. It's very convenient to have access to the plumbing and wiring above the panels. Plus, they look great! Our guests love the cozy little bedroom in the basement. I love my theatre space, with lots of room for a widescreen TV and sound surround speakers. Between the big windows and quality of finish of the work, this doesn't feel like a basement anymore. Thanks Brad!”

“To me a good contractor is judged on these categories, communication, Quoting process, Reliability and Skill. Communication - The communication was always within same day and for much of the time within 4 hours of me asking a question. This level of communication was before the quote, during the quote and after the deposit was paid. He promised to start the first day of work on a Tuesday but weather caused a delay at another job site and he called me the day before to let me know. It was nice to be informed instead of wondering why a contractor never showed up. I was away for a few days, he sent texts and he took pictures to keep me up to date on the progress. Quote process - During the quoting process he made it a point to look take into account all the things that could go wrong due to the condition of the structure underneath since it was hidden until demolition occurred. Thankfully the structure underneath was fine and the price and time he took to complete was exactly as quoted. Reliability - He said he would start work on a certain day and be finished within a week of starting. He started 1 day late but called me the day before to inform me he couldn't make it the next day. Other than that minor change he came as promised, demolished everything and rebuilt everything. As promised, on time and on budget. Skill - Everything looks and feels very solid. Visually it looks great.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Meghan and Kellen to remodel three rooms in our home, which focused on two complete bathroom renovations. Meghan came up with designs that we loved and then worked with us to get the right products to execute each design. She was very organized and punctual, despite her busy family schedule, and was endlessly patient with our questions and changes. Kellen's carpentry work was also excellent. “Max Peterson (Smith & Sons Remodeling Experts), was called in to complete a couple of challenging renovation projects at Klub Kal. The first task was to design and build a sound barrier around a hydro transformer kiosk. I was so satisfied with this job that I brought Max back to take his best shot at another design and construction challenge. My next requests were to complete a few finishing touches at my lakeside cabin, as well as complete an unfinished, rustic outdoor bathroom. Max approached the partially completed bathroom with a creative mind and was able to bring my vision to reality. The jobs were completed on time, on budget, with quality workmanship and all the while maintaining the creative design intent. The renovation projects were finished beyond my expectations. Max was great to work with and I would recommend him for construction jobs in the future.”

“Provided expert guidance, came in on time and on budget. Always listened to and respected home buyers point of view. Flexible, for example when homeowner purchased masonry heater on own builder found contractors to do the work. Always available and personally on site much of the time and at least twice weekly. Acted as home buyers' agent with sub contractors. Able to maintain full cooperation of sub contractors. Many aspects of the home are "green" , for example, building techniques which provide superior insulation. After one year there have been virtually no issues.”
