“David remodeled our bathroom and did a great job! The house is over 100 years old and of course there were many things not right. He was able to plumb the walls and floors, fix the plumbing and electrical and get an 8 foot marble slab stone shower installed. David is very seasoned and has the gamut of skills to complete almost any job - from rough construction, foundations to installing cabinetry, hanging door and crown moulding. He will always try to make it right and not take the short cut just to complete the job. He is very precise in his work. If you want quality and attention to details, then David is your contractor.”

“Great experience, high value, very reliable and best crew we ever worked with. Mayer’s construction did a home remodeling for us during the last 6 months. It has been a big home remodel for us that took design and build as well. After months spending finding the right company for us, we have choose to work with Mike & Nathan Mayer from Mayer’s construction. A week after finalizing contract we started working with Su & Luis both company’s architect and engineer. We worked on the new plans we agreed and wanted at first and started to have architect drawings ready, when we got into engineering process, both Mayer’s construction and us didn’t know we were suppose to redone so much of the existing footings and reinforce of additional walls as 20 years ago we did a 2nd story addition that was probably made poorly and unprofessional. They were extremely kind and helpful and kept the price as we agreed on and didn’t changed a thing. The plan process and measurements took about a month or so, and finally we were able to submit the plans to the city of San Jose. After getting the permits done and job card set ( overall 5 months of waiting / SJ is a pretty busy city) we got into work schedule and been ready to move out as the entire home going to be demolished. Mike was very organized both managing and scheduling the team, rough materials arrivals, and to us to be fully briefed with details and what we need and when. The process of work was great and on timeline , city did changed a lot during this time period with their inspection delays but it didn’t interrupt with our schedule or timeline due to great management ahead. We just finished our work and we absolutely in love with our new home! New flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathrooms, complete open floor plan, new stair case, new rooms reconfigured, new paint, new texture, new windows and sliding doors throughout, all new plumbing and electrical. A brand new and beautiful home we got thanks to Mayer’s construction and the team, Mike, Nathan, Raul, Jose and many more who had a added value and did this work absolute best.”

“I have hired Marc on a variety of projects at my home over the last five years. The biggest project he did for me was the remodeling of a one bedroom apartment over my garage. He did a fantastic job and when he was done the apartment was the most beautiful part of my house. The tile work he did in the bathroom was amazing. Over the last five years he has provided many types of services, including plumbing and electrical. He is a great problem solver and always arrives on time. I highly recommend Marc for home repairs or improvement projects.”

“We hired Clever Design and Remodeling to remodel our kitchen in our condo. We had met with two other contracting companies and we were given a similar quote as Clever but to be honest, meeting with Gilli gave me a totally different level of confidence than meeting with the others. We replaced most of the carpeting in our home with European Oak wood flooring which is beautiful. We also had the kitchen cabinets refinished and a new stainless steel over the range microwave installed as well as coordinating new sink fixtures and all new cabinet hardware. Recessed lighting was installed in the living room, kitchen, and master bath with necessary patching and all ceilings painted. Roy was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the project -plumbing, electrical, carpentry- displaying true craftsmanship in his work. Gilli was great to work with, she is very detail oriented and he and his team always left our house and the common areas in the condo building extremely clean (cleaner than it was originally, honestly). The Clever Design and Remodeling team really went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work. Strongly recommended!!!!”

“We recently completed a major remodel of our 1970's vintage home engaging Chris Flores of Westhill Construction as our contractor. From our first meeting, where we asked scores of questions about the process, the costs, the design, and the timeline, Chris really listened to our vision for the project, offered many great ideas, and encouraged us to collaborate with him on all phases of the design and construction. Chris also provided us with a detailed bid which included options and relative costs of various design elements, quality of fixtures and finishes, etc. He gave us an extensive list of references who we contacted, and who were uniformly thrilled with Westhill's quality, service, and price. I should also make it clear that we interviewed four other well-respected construction companies before we decided on Westhill. While I'm sure that they are all good and capable contractors, not one of them was willing to provide the kind of detailed design and budget proposal that Chris offered us without first signing a contract and providing a hefty deposit. Throughout the remodel of our kitchen, dining room, entry hall, skylights, windows, doors, master bedroom, and three bathrooms, from demolition to the final cleaning, Chris and his team were always professional, courteous, and respectful of our home and grounds. Every afternoon, as the work day would come to a close, there was a general cleanup (never any trash left behind - not even sawdust), a report on what had been accomplished, and a preview of "next steps". As we moved through the timeline, Chris would meet with us and supply us with a checklist of our "next steps" in choosing appliances, hardware, tile, bathroom fixtures, etc. This really kept us focused and on track. There were no "surprises" in the process. Chris also stayed on budget. If we decided to make changes or up-grades along the way, he'd provide us with a price, as well as with alternatives, so that we could decide if the change was actually worth making. About a year after the completion of this remodel, we invited Chris back to help us with another project - transforming wasted space under our deck into a wine making and storage area. Once again, he took our ideas and made them a reality. This was not a straightforward design, but Chris was able to work within the space and now we have a place to make and store wine from our small cabernet vineyard. We know, first hand, how stressful and expensive a major remodel can be, but when you put your trust in Westhill Construction, you will not be disappointed. If we had to do it all over again, Chris would be the first person we'd call! He receives our highest recommendation! Thanks Chris!!”
