“I started my search on Yelp looking for a contractor to do some repair work and entryway door replacement at my mother in-laws home. Out of three companies that came for quotes Castillo was the only company that returned with a quote...and a very reasonable quote. Part of the work was to repair a rotted section of siding. Castillo was honest and straightforward about making us aware that until they pulled all the boards back and started the repair that they couldn't confirm the amount of rot and damage, so the quote could change. Once we signed the contract for the work they promptly got the work underway. The workers were extremely courteous. They took great care to cover and protect the furnishings. They cleaned up after each day. The final work on all the siding, sheetrock repair and door replacement was fantastic. Alfonso runs a top notch business and top notch crew. “We hired Renaissance Man (Thomas Koch) to redo two bathrooms and cosmetic work to other parts of the house. He personally took my call immediately and came out the same day to give an estimate. His demeanor at the first meeting was one of honesty, intelligence and a man who treats his business like the German craftsman he is. His estimate was broken down, item by item and room by room. What I particularly loved was while he would estimate what particular items might cost us, he only charges for labor to install. ABSOLUTELY NO MARKUP on anything from electrical fixtures, tiles, vanities, sinks, etc. No hidden costs at all. Not many contractors will do that! So —- onto the work: he started on the date we asked him to and never left the project until finished to our satisfaction. It took about 3 weeks to finish everything which was exactly what Thomas told me at the beginning. I have a home office so every day the various trades came and went, getting here at exactly 9:00 am and leaving at exactly 5:00 pm. Like clockwork - a well machined German clock, that is. As with any construction project, there were some unforeseen things (like a vent stack running through a wall we wanted to take out, some electrical issues that involved old wiring and an odd dimensioned closet that required custom folding doors) but other than that, everything went to plan and came together beautifully. Thomas came every single afternoon to inspect the day’s work. I recommend him very, very highly!”

“Visionaire Construction handled the renovations of my two homes and did wonderful work. For the first home, Gabe and his crew turned the front living area and kitchen into a great space that came out fabulous. A kitchen wall was taken down and a support beam inserted the attic. The kitchen was completely gutted and restored with new cabinets, new appliances and a beautiful island complete with seating. Front and side doors were replaced along with new trim and moulding. It really came out nice and has added significant value. For the second project, Visionaire completely gutted the interior of a brick home originally constructed in the early 1950s. New energy efficient windows were installed. New front and rear doors were installed. They ran new electrical wiring, new PEX plumbing and installed a tankless water heater that I recommend highly. Two bedrooms were reconfigured with the closets of each enlarged. A walk-in closet was constructed in the master bedroom. Visionaire sheet rocked the entire interior and installed new flooring. They painted the entire interior and installed new trim and moulding along the walls. The bathroom was completely done over with a new tub, toilet, bathroom cabinet and sink. The tub/shower surroundings were enclosed with custom, man-made quartz marble. The living room and kitchen also were turned into a great room by knocking down a wall and inserting a beam in the ceiling. New cabinets, new appliances and an island with seating were installed. A concrete patio was added across the back of the house, with a slab poured and covering installed, which has given the property a great area for socializing with friends and family. Visionaire handled having a new driveway poured and installed. Visionaire also did great work in installing wooden fences. The front gate they added has given a completely different look to the front of the house. I was completely happy with their work and the best part is they came in $20,000 under my projected budget of $85,000. Thumbs up, Visionaire!”
