“We hired Progress Street Builders (PSBs) to build us a custom home that would provide for the needs of a severely physically disabled child, expanding family, and a more modern decorating style, all on a strict budget. Our experience with every employee at PSBs is one that embodies the definition of excellent customer service. They skillfully guided us through designing floor plans and architecture with plenty of ideas and problem-solving guidance. They patiently waited on us to work through detailed decisions and took longer with us than a typical client to design and re-design detailed floor plans to suit our special needs and future goals for our home while at the same time helping stay in budget. We are pretty particular when it comes to interior selections, designs, and finishes. But PSBs made the selections process for every detail of the interior a fun process and we are so thrilled with the gorgeous results! We could have never thought through so many special details for a child in a wheel chair without their help and expertise. The PSBs team came up with so many unique and amazing ideas! “Dollman Construction provided design and installation services for: A new guest bathroom with installation of custom shower, additional lighting, new pedastal sink, toilet and fixtures. Redesign of master bath and installation of custom shower, additional lighting, vessel tub, custom painted existing vanity area, reworked entrance to the master closet and bathroom. All areas were painted to match existing walls, ceilings and trim or custom painted as specefied by the interior designer. Redesigned a small office, removed existing closets and plumbing for new laundry room and pantry. We selected Jimmy Dollman's company based on outstanding reviews he had received from other customers and the fact that he is a class A, licensed and insured contractor. Since his is a design/build company, He had some great ideas on how to take care of an akward downstairs guestroom. Although the room was large, we were having trouble getting the storage solutions we wanted and 2 twin beds in the room. His idea was to open up an area beneath a staircase that allowed us to tuck an extra bed and nightstand in to the space. In the family room he came up with the idea of reorienting the family room to a different wall which would feature a new stone fireplace and built in bookshelves and media area. Upstairs Jimmy came up with an entirely new layout for our master bathroom and our tiny master closet which gave us and additional 3 feet of closet space, a new vessel tub and corner shower. We reused the existing vanity and he had it custom painted to coordinate. The new guest bathroom is handicapped accessible, yet looks like a picture out of a magazine. In fact, everything he and his crew did is very high end. Everything they did is really gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. The initial bid was a little higher than we wanted to spend and Jimmy was very patient about working through what we wanted to achieve and where we could economize and where it would be best to go higher end. He came out often to check on the job and we talked about once a week. He's very funny, easy to deal with and what we especially like is that he that he really is on top of everything. We had very few issues and those that came up were dealt with immediately without any fuss. The job site was cleaned and vacuumed every night, which was great for us, since we stayed in the house while all of the work was done. His crew, project manager and subs were all top notch. Everything is all about the customer and what is going to work and look the best. What we learned from this experience is that you get what you pay for. If you want a company you can trust to deliver the very best product based on your budget in a very low stress way then you really can't go wrong with Dollman Construction. Today is the last day of our project and it was delivered on time and on budget. We have a list of future projects that we would like to work with them on and I guess that says it all.”
