“Built a new extension, remodeled kitchen and built a new deck. The majority of the work was of the highest quality. Organization and planning could have been better. The project took a lot longer than expected. Some situations were beyond our control while others could have been avoided through better coordination. On the whole we are very happy with the work. We broke ground in November - it's now late July and I think we have 3 - 4 more weeks of work till we are completed.”

“I have hired A&E Construction for both large and small projects multiple times over the past 8 years and without any hesitation, give them the highest recommendation possible. The owner of the company, Greg Fontaine, is experienced, knowledgeable, honest and reliable. Projects were always done on time and on budget and if for some reason, the schedule needs to change, Greg does an excellent job communicating the reasons. Before working with A&E, we hired many contractors over the years, and no one ever compared in terms of quality of work combined with reliability and trustworthiness. Another thing we've really appreciated about working with Greg is his ability to provide us with options and ideas if we needed to scale back on a project. Two of the larger projects Greg did for us were finishing our basement and building a poolhouse. Greg was very cognizant that we did not have an unlimited budget and worked with us to make sure we got the most for our money. Greg also does an excellent job hiring talented and reliable people that I am always comfortable having in my home. Additionally, they are very neat and always clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Lastly, and most importantly, Greg really cares about his customers and goes above and beyond what's expected to make sure they are 100% satisfied. I can't say enough good things about him and A&E!! If you hire them, you won't be disappointed.”

“I have known Stephen Samuels of DES Home Renovations for over a year now, and I can say he is one of the most detail-oriented people I've ever worked with. He truly cares that everything comes out perfect, and it shows in his work. From writing proposals to explaining things to homeowners to completing the project, Stephen and his team go through painstaking detail to make sure all of the details are exactly how he and the homeowner want them. If you're looking for a quality remodeling contractor who pays attention to detail (and doesn't just use that phrase as a selling point), I recommend DES.”

“When we bought our 1300 square foot bungalow in 2004, we knew that a renovation was in our future. The house needed major updating and in 2006, we hired Architect Stephen Rhoads to help us with that renovation. We had interviewed another architect, as well as a designer, however, it was clear that Stephen Rhoads was the right architect for us. Stephen is extremely knowledgeable, and creative as well as being friendly. He listened carefully to our wish list, and must haves, took notes, and even drew sketches with some ideas as we spoke. Eventually, Stephen turned our 1960 outdated bungalow, into a 2200 square foot dream home. Our family room with a stone fireplace and plenty of natural light is an addition to the back of the house. Our new kitchen opens to the family room complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and track lighting. Stephen designed a second floor with a Master bedroom with a spa like bathroom, and a studio with natural light. We also wanted a front porch and back deck, and better curb appeal which Stephen accomplished. He also designed a fieldstone patio, a front and back blue stone walkway, and helped us with some drainage issues in the back yard. Stephen Rhoads was able to come up with the perfect design so that we could have it all, and as the project manager, Stephen was on site every day making sure that the builder was doing their best work. We had several upgrades and change orders along the way, and Stephen negotiated with the contractor to get us the best deal possible. He also helped us get great deals on granite counter tops, faucets, lighting fixtures, and everything else that we needed to buy. Stephen is a wonderful problem solver with construction expertise, knowledge, and familiarity with the local building codes and laws. We are very happy with our renovated home, and highly recommend Architect Stephen Rhoads for any upgrading or renovation project.”

“We have had Larry so three jobs at our home now to include a porch remodel, window replacements, and entry/foyer remodel. His attention to detail is impeccable! On each project he has worked closely with us to get the design we wanted and he has incredible vision and ideas. He always completed the work on schedule and the end results are amazing!! Would recommend him for any services needed and we will be using him again in the future.”

“Lasley Brahaney's crew did beautiful work on our new addition. They executed their tasks with skill and professionalism, handling all the details and keeping the stress level as low as possible. The workers were friendly, easy to talk to, and always willing to discuss any aspect of the project. Although our project was not a large one, the owner Marc took personal interest in making sure we were happy with all aspects of the work. We recommend Lasley Brahaney highly, and will definitely use them again if we have future construction projects.”

“We were referred to Legacy Contracting by several people. They are a quality operation from start to finish. We witnessed firsthand the level of professionalism from all. Each member of Legacy, from Owner down earned our trust and respect and treated our home as though it were their own. We renovated approximately 1,100 sq ft of the main part of our home. Legacy Contracting removed all of the walls, resulting in an open concept new Kitchen, Dining and Living Area that we had desired for years. The quality and design of their craftsmanship was amazing. In fact, several visitors to our home assumed we hired an architect to do the design prior to having Legacy do the renovation, when in reality it was Legacy who offered the suggestions. Our renovation was completed on time and within budget and the outcome far exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to refer Legacy Contracting to anyone.”

“AtoZ Improvements are my go-to contractors and have done multiple jobs in my new home, the most recent of which was my master bathroom. The owner Bill is truly an artist and takes the time to discuss design with you, he has a GREAT eye for detail and will explain every detail of your project so that you understand exactly how the work will be done. He will not stop until the job is done to perfection and within budget! Thank God because it is hard to find contractors that are reliable or care these days! Hire AtoZ Improvements, don't waste time searching elsewhere, this is a sure thing!”
