“This was a substantial, whole-house remodel (keeping the same footprint) to make a very quirky, dark home on a gorgeous wooded hill into a light and airy rustic-modern home to live in the rest of my life. We went down the design and contractor path with a number of people (for a number of years) before finally coming back to Mark Hoerr and his architect/designer Seth Luginbuhl. I cannot say enough good things about the process with Mark and Seth that got us a final design. Now we are in the thick of the remodel, and cannot say enough good things about the carpenters and other tradespeople. They are extremely talented, diligent and hardworking, responsive and respectful, and all-around a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to upload finished photos around Christmas time, but will upload a few of the house in progress.”

“We built a large pole building that included basic layout for 'living quarters', or what we refer to as a little cottage with a really big garage. In the 10 years since we've built the building they have come out without question to tweak small issues. (We have large sliding barn doors that have needed adjustment for example.) There have never been additional charges. They also led us to a contractor who would help with updates to the living quarters which was mostly our work. While people joke about being born in a barn we proudly live in one on the weekends, and have been happy with the quality of the work and the long term committment to the building, even through the tough construction environment in our state. Even after the passing of 10 years when I see a Morton building in our travels I feel like I'm seeing a friend. I'd highly recommend this company for it's flexibility to our plan, it's work and long term stability.”

“Chad remodeled our whole home. He took a jacuzzi room, paneled in cedar, and extended it past our deck, and adding a new deck beyond. He also dug under our old jacuzzi, making a full storage room and a downstairs library. The new family room has six skylights and twelve tall windows, so it's light and airy. Paneled in beautiful cedar, it's our favorite room. The downstairs has become a complete bedroom suite with a kitchen, library. and storage room. It's sufficient to say sixteen years later, we're still singing Chad's praises in both design and execution. He has our highest recommendation.”

“We built a Schorck home and have been thrilled with the quality and design. The floorplan was thoughtful and logical and fits our needs perfectly. Scott and his staff makes the new construction or remodel process easy, bring great ideas on design elements as well as cost saving strategies and their work is unmatched in Central Illinois. The post sale support is outstanding. They do their own extensive inspection and punch list so the homeowner doesn't have another set of issues to deal while closing and moving into a new home, and their warranty support is a huge value and provides great peace of mind. Scott really puts his customer's best interest first and is exceptionally accomodating in working with the customer's architect. His subs are first rate and he clearly has the best subs in the area on his team. I highly recommend you meet with Scott if you're building an executive bracket home or are considering a remodeling project in your existing home. It's a great experience to work with Scott and the team and you'll be glad you met them.”

“First of all, my bathroom looks amazing. Very modern and way more comfortable than before. They gave us an estimate and designs for free before we committed to anything. Scott even told us which materials would be cheaper to buy on our own so we could stay in our budget. The installers were friendly and answered all the questions we had that popped up over the project. They came on time and worked hard and they cleaned up every day so it was safe for our kids. We only have one bathroom, so they reinstalled the toilet before they were done with the floor we could still use the bathroom that night. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with this company.”
