“Work in progress but so far they have cleaned up after their day's work, on schedule with work. The work has not been completed yet so more to come when it is completed. Update: It's month 7 and while initially work went quickly, things slowed down by month 4. Still some minor fixes left. Have to revise my rosy initial review. Overall poor communication between the design specialist and the project manager.”

“Hired JD and his company to extend our deck, reinforce as needed and to install a glass panel in the middle of the deck railing to add some pop and allow a view of our pond. JD and his crew did an amazing job - they evaluated and reinforced the structure supporting deck (correcting many mistakes by the original builder); extended/rebuilt the deck itself (I know it is small but ALL the nails lines up straight); installed the deck rail and installed the reinforced, tempured glass section. They also stained the deck. They showed up on time every day on time, worked a full day, kept the work site clean and tidy - they also listened to my concerns about a nearby tree and wisteria - they took great care to keep both unharmed by the reconstruction. They offered many different options so I could get the featues I wanted - I think their prices were on target. I would hire them again in a heart beat.”

“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“In April of 2016, we began the search to find the best contractor in the Cincinnati area to build a new addition and remodel our house. It was a difficult process, and after interviewing several contractors I was about to give up until a contractor that had worked on my kitchen recommended Legacy Custom Builders LLC. I was sold from the first meeting with James Kennedy where we walked through the house and discussed the ideas around the addition. James walked me through the entire process and one of the best pieces of advice he gave me was to hire an architect (Darren E. Myers from Kenneth R. Bowerman, Architect, Inc.), also the best in Cincinnati. The entire team at Legacy was committed from day one to meeting our expectations and staying within our budget. From the initial drawings, through the city variance process, and finalizing the budget paperwork, Legacy and Darren were there every step of the way. Rob Kennedy is honest, caring, concerned, accountable, and clearly knows his business of building houses. Construction is not always a smooth and easy process. Things can arise at any time that are unexpected and to the home owner may seem overwhelming and insurmountable. However, Rob is always cool and has a plan of action. He is patient and takes the time to explain all of the options and is only concerned that the client is happy in the end. I can't thank him and his team enough for everything they did over the 6 month period to make things right and ensure everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Overall, I cannot say enough great things about Legacy Custom Builders LLC. There are very few businesses...let alone contractors that are so honest and upfront with clients. It makes a tremendous difference. We couldn't be more pleased with how the addition/renovation turned out. We're lucky to have found Legacy.
