“Mike has almost completed the construction of our carriage house, and we have begun to plan for the construction of our main house, which he will build. The quality of construction is excellent. From the special construction techniques necessary to protect our house in an area vulnerable to hurricanes and flooding to the absolutely beautiful woodwork and finishing, we have been very pleased. Not only has the execution been excellent; Mike has been generous with his planning time with us, and has worked to educate us about as much of the detail as we wish. We have worked closely as well with Jane Maher in the process of making product and design selections for the carriage house. While Jane is not a professional decorator, she has been very helpful with decorating decisions, and has worked to put us in contact with so many helpful vendors that we have not found it necessary to seek a decorator for this part of the process. We could not recommend this team more highly.”

“TAB Premium Built Homes completed an addition to our home in 2012 and was the original builder six years earlier. The best way to describe our experience with TAB is "fun." From start to finish it is a great experience working with TAB, and it is a little sad when they complete their work since you won't be seeing these professionals as often. The quality of their work is in every way outstanding. In previous homes we would discover problems with the construction over time. With the home and the addition that TAB built for us we have discovered nothing but superb craftsmanship as time has gone by, and we have looked closer at the details of the construction. If you are planning on building a new home or adding to or renovating your current home, you will not find a better company in the New Bern area than TAB Premium Built Homes. From design to construction to follow up this is a first-rate company that does everything right!”

“I had hired Mr. Newkirk to replace my deck. I had a wooden deck that was rotting. Mr. Newkirk developed and designed a fabulous patio area for me. My patio area now consists of pavers and flagstone, 2 levels. He also installed an excellent drainage system and some low voltage lighting. He had many wonderful ideas for future planning as well that included fire pit and fountains. He did an excellent job throughout the entire process from the design concept, to planning, to completing the project. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him on this project.”

“Tipton Builders did a job for me after a hurricane and could not have been more wonderful to work with. Not only did they charge me a very fair rate when others were not, they quoted the job and completed it for the same rate without any surprises. The job was completed on time, and the management was on site daily. They communicated all the time and were very pleasurable to work with. Their men were true craftsmen, a forgotten trade. I could not have asked for more, truly professional crowd.”

“Mike and I can not be happier with the work KTE Contracting did on the beautiful building they created for us along with our Dog Kennels! It is far more than either of us could ever imagine it would have been. We are both so proud to show off our little corner of Anita Forte . Not only was the work completed far beyond our expectations but they passed all inspections with no issues and stayed on top of everything being done which included our fence which wasn't even part of the build. These folks are the best and we would be glad to show off the work if anyone wants to see it. We actually miss them! Thank you again KTE!!!”

“Harbor Point Contracting has remodeled a bathroom, den, Brealfast nook and kitchen floor. They are professional and stick to the estimate you are given before start of the work. While in the process of replacing my flooring there was a issue with moisture that had caused damage that had to be repaired. Horber Point Contracting repaired the damaged floor'subflooring with out over charging me for the additional work. Horbor Point Contracting has my respect and my business for life.”
