“It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Stephensen Constructions. My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home. Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional. Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had. We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish. Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail. The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home. “The Civic Steel Homes team made the whole process of building our dream home on our block of land (with a difficult sandstone substrate) so easy and straightforward. Neither my husband nor I had built a new house before, and we were guided through the necessary steps and assisted in making all the decisions by the friendly, experienced and professional team, including a sales manager, in-house architect, colour consultant, accounts manager and a project manager all working in harmony to ensure our wishes were fulfilled. The results did justice to the magnificent views from our property, as you can see from the photos. “We engaged Saunders Building Company to undertake our renovation in January of 2017. From the start, through the process of quotation right until the keys were handed over, Kirby and his team displayed nothing but professionalism. No question or query went unanswered and all communication was undertaken in a timely and professional manner. Kirby expects a high quality of workmanship from his team which was made evident by the end result of our renovation. We could not be happier with the end product of our renovation. “Cannot recommend Dwain and the team at Hezzelic enough! From our first meeting, Dwain was great to deal with, friendly, listened to what we were after and our concerns (we were building in Brisbane whilst living in Sydney), accommodating and provided valuable feedback on all aspects given this was our first build. All the specifications and price of the build were laid out from the beginning and Dwain took the time to talk through all our questions in detail (thanks for your patience!) to make sure we were comfortable with everything and to ensure there were no surprises. All the inclusions were of a high standard. The build itself was seamless, we were provided regular updates on the progress of the build and there were no delays from the original timetable. What sets Hezzelic apart is the quality of finishes and the pride Dwain, Shane and the team take in their work. Just a tiny example, during the build, Dwain noticed the way we had the front door swing in the plans didn’t flow well practically, he called us to discuss this, and amended the plan for the door accordingly. It is the little details like this that you miss when you are not on site but that we were grateful that the Hezzelic team took the time to think of and address during the build process. Dwain, Shane and the team have great attention to detail and take pride in their finishes, when we did the walk through for handover, they picked out defects that we missed and had them all fixed prior to us moving in. We are often complemented by friends (especially those who have built before) on the quality of our build. Thank you Dwain, Shane and the team.
