“I had called several contractors to come out review my job and provide an estimate. Many never called back or came and didn’t follow up with a quote. Houzz sent a lead to Cody/Little Home Repair. He came out at the agreed upon time. Looked at the project and confidently stated he could do the job. He explained what he anticipated and showed me where the water was gaining entrance. He followed up with the quote exactly as promised. He explained that once they got into the wall the quote could change but didn’t think it would be significant. We agreed on price and the work began. I was throughly impressed with his team. They all worked great together. They put up barriers to keep dust to a minimum. Every evening they cleaned up. They laid down carpet protectors wherever they would be walking. Because there was damage to a weight bearing seal plate, he suggested contacting a structural engineer. We took his advice and the engineer provided additional expertise to the project. Project is finished and I am very pleased with the results.”

“Jeremy Hensley has been our contractor, advisor and the person we call for any problem, emergency or long-term need for repair, that arises in our home. Our first encounter with him three year ago is when he was the contractor for a major house project, a new driveway and terrace. His work and advice, willingness to answer each question or tackle unexpected problems was beyond our expectations and hopes. We worked with him on this project for over three months and other problems and projects that crept up on us at that time. Since then, we have called on him repeatedly and found that whatever the problem, he was right over to inspect and offer a variety of choices and options for fixing a problem. “We worked with Alan Gerbus to build our home last year. He was incredible to work with. Start to finish he was very detail oriented. From design to production he consistently made sure that what we were doing lived up to our design goals. His subcontractors universally loved him and raved about how great he was. You always hear stories about building a custom home and how you need to be on top of your general contractor. We found that anything we noticed during the build, not only had Alan already seen it, but he usually had already taken steps to correct the issue. Quality was key for him. He didn't think the footers were deep enough so he ripped them out and had them re-poured. The first sub doing our stone work was not doing a good job so he fired them and got someone new and he made them redo the work already done. During design phase, several times he contacted us as he did not feel the design was what we were looking for and he worked and tweaked things to get it where it needed to be. We could not have asked for a better builder or better build experience!”

Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. New trim/doors through my entries home. Light fixtures, railing, changed register vents and many odds and ends that I added on while he was here.
