“Our boat house back wall was caving in. We hired Washa Construction to replace the wooden wall with concrete block. Since the driveway is quite a distance from the lake, there was a lot of manual work hauling dirt from the boat house to the dumpster and concrete block and cement to the boat house. They also had to build temporary walls to support the roof during the construction project. The guys did this during the hotest part of the summer. The job turned out great!
We've used Washa Contruction before and have been very satisfied with the professionalism and craftsmanship of the workers. We'd highly recommend them.”

There were all kinds of design challenges here as we wanted to keep the architectural integrity of the house while at the same time end up with a modern high-end kitchen. Michael did a marvelous job. Easy to work with, full of creative ideas and the job was done on the schedule as promised. We are now two years into the kitchen, love it and get all kinds of complements from neighbors and friends. “Most people call a construction company for all the best reasons. You save up and plan to build a new house, redo a few rooms or add on a porch. But when a tragic event occurs there is no time to save or plan.
That is what happened to our family. We woke up one morning to find not only our house but our garage as well were completely damaged. They both would need to be completely resided. After calling a few different places and getting bids I was a mess and was giving up hope of finding a good company to work with.
Then a friend recommended AF Construction. Adam took the time to explain everything to me. He was empathetic and kind to my family. When he saw how upset I was when I found out the same color siding was not an option he made time to stop over with lots of samples. He sat with my kids and I until we could all agree on the new color.
From the first day he arrived to look at the damage until the day they cleaned up all their supplies Adam and Travis went above and beyond what expected.
At that point any other construction company would have taken their final payment and never looked back. But not Adam ! He called a few weeks later to check on how we were doing. How many companies go the extra mile like that ?”

and a 17 year generic old kitchen/ living room into a colorful, unique/modern, industrial, display. She reinvented original oak cabinets into bright color/glossed coating, with stainless steel doors. The floors are a rough sand tile, replacing hickory pergo style flooring in the kitchen and dining area. The bar was wrapped in stainless steel and she tiled the back
splash with stainless steel and multiple colored tiles. The counter is a blue and quartz recycled material. The living room has a new multiple green tile fire place. The walls throughout the house are bright colors. New lighting and furniture was added. The rooms are artistic and fun! We think her company is great and are continuing to work with her presently. After meeting with Not Just Kitchens, we felt they were going to be the most ambitious, taking on the challenge of removing load-bearing walls and they had great design ideas with computerized mock displays so we could visualize the finished product. We were thrilled with the progress and, of course, the finished product. The work was done on schedule, the materials used were top-of-the-line, and everyone was very accessible and professional. We probably could have found a company to do the work for less, but we couldn't be happier with our remodeled kitchen/sunroom. It has drastically improved our home's value, and it certainly has that "wow" factor every time you walk in the door. We would hire Not Just Kitchens again, and would recommend them highly.”
