“To Whom It May Concern: We have used Wayne Bernskoetter Construction for 25 years. We have always been impressed with their superior work, exceptional crew, and ability to improvise, as needed, in some projects. We have used them for new projects as well as remodeling. We know that the job will always be done right, as well as "on time". His company is certainly customer oriented and consistent. The last job he did was to repair our large wooden deck. “Signature Homes is a top quality construction company located in central Missouri. This group of talented professionals has worked closely with the us to select and design the perfect house plan for our retirement. We have seen them work closely with the city and county to procure building permits along the way. The site manager has effectively managed all the steps in the building process flawlessly, never failing to answer our questions throughout the building project. The attention to detail is key to each professional on the Signature Homes' team. This team of experienced folks are thoughtful and prompt and make the process of home building an exciting endeavor rather than a stressful event. We like working with honest folks who do what they say they will do. It is evident that these employees care for one another and absolutely love their jobs. The gifted designer helped us identify our needs and style preferences which made our product selection so much easier. With each step of our home building project, we have been thrilled with the quality of the construction and the personal touch that the Signature Homes team has shared. “Aarow Building is the best contractor I've ever used. They are doing a remodel of two bathrooms, replacing back stairs with an upstairs half bath, remodeling and combining two bedrooms into a one-room master suite that includes a walk-in closet, remodeling and combining a kitchen, dining room and living room into a great room area, replacing the front door, adding a mantel and installing a "garage-door-opener-driven" dumbwaiter. The crew all work directly for Aarow and most of them are college-educated. They are flexible and professional and they have been especially sensitive to the needs of my elderly mother who has dementia. They treat her with respect and took great pains to make her bathroom more accessible. Jake Bruton, Aarow's owner (who succeeded his father after 30 years in the business) comes every morning and we go over what got done the day before and consult about what will happen that day. He has a great attitude and we truly make decisions together. He meets me at stores when I am struggling with choices. Jake has guided the entire project, from design to completion (which happens next week). He has an art degree, which gives him a more nuanced understanding of design. Jake takes pride in the quality of the work and has redone many small things just to make sure we're completely satisfied (releveled a sink and tp holder, switched out a vanity, moved outlets, switched out a mirror, etc.). My only small complaint is that the project has taken longer than projected and is ending a bit close to Christmas. It's not all their fault because of unanticipated termite damage and mold. In the middle of the project, Jake had to terminate someone who was chronically late and I supported him in that, even though we lost some time. He is currently making an all-out push to make up lost time and get done, even pulling in his father to help. I would highly recommend this contractor. The overall experience has been very positive.”

“Loved working with Angela, Kerry, Danny and the gang on our kitchen remodel! They were very thorough and their attention to detail was spot on! Danny and his crew made sure the work site was cleaned up daily and they were professional and courtious while at the work site. Angela was great help from the initial design process to helping pick fixtures and colors to the installation of the finished product.”

“I highly recommend Otto Construction. Tony and his team worked with us from design to completion of a finished product that truly exceeded our expectation. They took a useless crawl space and created a fantastic living area that is seamless in flow and matching materials to the original build. Our new space has allowed our kids and their friends to have their own living and sleeping space which they really enjoy. Additionally exterior enhancements of natural stone and archways were added to create interest and character to our home. The Otto construction staff was very professional and accommodating. Finding quality and reliable workmanship is often a challenging endeavor . After interviewing many companies , what sold us is that Otto Construction was the only company that took us on a tour of other projects they had completed as examples of their work. They have real pride in what they do. We were always kept apprised of the budget with no surprises. We could not be more pleased!!!”
