“We needed our main consumer unit to be upgraded to accommodate some additional electrical circuits for a loft conversion. It was in a small tight corner in a cupboard and clearly a challenging job. Other electricians looked at the job with much teeth sucking and head shaking but Andy from Nicholas Electrical was happy to take on the task and provided a very competitive quote. On the day he was tidy, friendly and respectful of our property whilst performing the work. The job was done in good time to a very high standard. The supporting testing certificates were provided soon after. All in all a faultless job performed by a highly knowledgeable professional who certainly appears to be more interested in exceeding customer expectations than making money. Thoroughly recommended.”

“We first used Back from Black Beam Renovation on a project in Wheathampstead where a 15th Century crown post frame was covered in black tar and charred from previous fire damage. The finish is exceptional and extremely realistic to the extent that it actually looks better than timber which has been sandblasted.”
