“Ever since I met Rick Alpen of ArtisStone I knew I wanted to work with him on a custom project. He is an artist and an exceptional tradesperson. I hired Rick to complete a concrete sculpture as a landscape and building solution. The project required that we collaborate and brainstorm together in the planning phase. Rick was a lot of fun to work with in this process. In the end he created just what I was envisioning, and our clients were thrilled. His work is still a conversation piece - people love to hear how the "rock planter" is made by hand, by a local artisan, using concrete. Recommended!”

“Recently we were pricing new leather couches and loveseat as ours are 15 years old and the seat cushions were sunken and uncomfortable. The prices now for leather furniture are more than double what we paid. We found Fibrenew on the internet and sent in a request for a quote. The quote was very reasonable and much lower than others in Nanaimo. KEN did an excellent job and was so concerned that we were happy with his work.
