Wingback LLC
Specialty Contractors in East Flat Rock.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars23 June 2014
“I had a black leather couch with serious wear on the edges of the cushions. Wingback helped me choose a contrasting color to update my couch then reupholstered my cushions. They also made 3 pillows out of the new fabric using the discarded leather as pillow backs. They were done in a few days and their pricing was great. The couch looked very different and I have gotten many compliments. I was so pleased that I am taking wooden chairs to them to recover the seats. They were very professional and helpful..”

“I called Retraca Screen to quote on retractable screens for my home. Virgo was very prompt and we soon discovered that my windows would not accept the retractable screens, but Virgo was able to have removable screens designed for my windows which worked out perfectly! Now we are looking forward to working with him on screening our porch!”

“Tom and Nico go above and beyond to make sure you understand the value in their cutting edge products, meet your needs and then some, make it easy with financing options, and their quotes are solid, even when they need to use more material or do something special. They hear of issues you have that have nothing to do with their products, and help you there too! Recommending talented and reasonable people who can meet those needs as well. I can't say enough about their thoughtfulness and integrity. They did not oversell and took a look at what my needs and concerns were. I felt comfortable they knew what they were talking about and gave me all the information i needed to make an informed decision. On top of this the products are INCREDIBLE. I first got the Power Box and needed the larger box due to my solar system creating a lot of dirty energy. The EMF readings went from 750 upstairs to 34 (under 50 is optimal). I think I dodged a bullet health-wise as i work from home. As well as the health benefits, the electric runs more efficiently (less electric cost), it saves the life of motorized appliances AND my solar inverter, and acts as a surge protector for the entire house. The air felt lighter, cooler, and less pressurized when the box went on. I got the Stetzerizer meter so I can monitor and verify the difference. Everyone with solar I think needs this for health reasons, but who doesn't want to spend less on their electric bill, appliances, etc? I just had the Green Shield insulation put in the attic of my house and garage and look forward to an incredible R factor as it resists 97% of radiant heat, is environmentally safe and nothing to out-gas, has a 25 yr warranty and is recognized by the government as being eligible for rebate. The guys that put it in were hard workers, conscientious, and did a good job. They didn't rush it and preferred to 'do it right'. I feel so well protected and would recommend Eleeos and their products enthusiastically.”

“Thomas Hughes has 40 years experience in building, and it shows. I never dreamed I would be so lucky to get a contractor who has the skills, knowledge and ability that Thomas has. I did a complete kitchen remodel, taking the walls down to the studs, and I was clueless about what I was in for. The kitchen and dinette area had pine paneling floor to ceiling. I wanted to leave a portion in the dinette as wainscoting. Thomas executed that beautifully, and he and his long-time helper, Steve, custom made the chair rail that added the finishing touch. Thomas also made the crown moulding for both rooms, which was absolutely seamless when installed. Every vendor who worked on the kitchen commented it was the best they're ever seen. I had the cabinets built by someone other than one of Thomas's preferred vendors, and learned a lesson. However, Thomas was there to advise me on getting what I wanted, and then fixing the issues that arose. Everything Thomas was responsible for went without a hitch. The budget he gave me is exactly what he charged. He was on the job himself, every day, even if it was to check on his subs or the vendors I chose, just to be sure things were going well for me. And he was on time - at my house every time he said he'd be here, and WHEN he said he would be here. Thomas is a skilled craftsman, and this is a dying breed. If you're lucky enough to get him on your job, I guarantee you won't regret it! This man is nothing if not honest. He won't steer you wrong, he'll tell you if he doesn't know something (which is rare) and get an answer for you; he'll help you with every detail of your project. As you can tell I am gushing somewhat, because I really can't say enough good things about working with Hughes Builders. I knew Thomas et. al. were good, but didn't realize how important it was that a contractor be MORE than good. Now that I really understand the importance of what your contractor can do during a remodel (he can make or break it!), I realize how very fortunate I was to have Thomas handle everything. Exceptional quality, craftsmanship skills next to none, knowledge from years of experience and from having done it all - that's what you get with Tom Hughes. Wish there was a 10-star rating!”
