“it was a couple of weeks ago on a Sunday night, when I finally decided to head to the gym for the first time this year. I came down the stairs, stepped on the foyer, "Splash, splash". Horrified, I looked down to see several inches of water on the floor. Turns out the cold Siberian Indiana winter caused the pipes in my downstairs bathroom to burst. Horrified, I called my insurance company, who in turn got me in contact with Whitney and Shawn Huff, the owners of On Time Restoration. Even though I called them on short notice, on a Sunday night, Shawn was there with his crew within a short period of time. They came in, introduced themselves, and proceeded to get to work. I was on edge during this time (no one needs burst pipes), but they used humor and professionalism to alleviate my concerns. They also brought plenty of equipment to start the dry out. As I sat there, I talked to them as they worked. They had the right balance of professionalism and humor, and they all seemed really down to earth. This is one of those things that when it happens to you, you hope you have someone solid to do the work, and do right by you. I have no complaints whatsoever, and I have been pleased with the work they have done so far. If my mom ever had plumbing issues, I would reccomend On Time Restoration to her.”

“I have a two-bedroom house build in 1941. The house had great bones and the potential for lots of charm. However, after years as a student rental, it was definitely in need of both repairs and renovations to make it livable again. I worked with Harold Herron of Smart Choice Home Repair on several repair jobs around the house and to take out an old closet that was useless and build a pantry to fit that space. The Smart Choice team did excellent work and were excellent "houseguests" during the time they were here. They used all reclaimed wood for the project, but you would never know the pantry came from an old barn. I would hire Smart Choice again in a moment, and I've already recommended its services to my neighbors.”

“I am so glad I researched this company. These guys are terrific!! James the owner is a 10 star owner! He came on a Sunday to give me a bid and fit me in his schedule. Too bad most businesses do not excel to this level of customer care anymore. My architect father taught me to always get 3 bids. After seeing James reviews and speaking with him, he was the only one I called - I'm glad I did! happy to report my first utility bill is significantly lower.”

“Had a wet basement and these guys had the unfortunate task of jack hammering up the slab and putting in drains on the inside and outside of my house. They showed up on time and worked non stop until the job was finished. I did have another leak a few months after the install. They came back and completely reworked the area at no cost to me. They are expensive but I now have a dry basement that I am finishing and a guarantee that I can pass on to the next homeowner.”
