Oz Electric
Specialty Contractors in Shirley.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars5 March 2018
“OZ electric removed old florescent lighting. Removed old wiring. He Installed new LED lighting and new wiring wherever it was needed. His work was very good and he paid attention to detail. His prices are fair and well worth it for the quality of work he does. I have worked with other electricians who charged a lot more and did not work as well. He was done quickly and cleaned up after himself. I will be using Oz Electric in all my future jobs. Bob Can Do Home Repair Inc.”
Truth Concrete and Tile
Specialty Contractors in Shirley.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars29 December 2021
“After living in our house for over fifty years we decided to renovate our bathroom by removing the pink tiles and our pink cast iron bathtub (weighing about 400 pounds) and installing an enclosed shower. We also had the floor tiles replaced as well. I can some up the experience by saying Truth Concrete and Tile, Phil Sullivan, did an outstanding job. He was precise in his workmanship and did not delay our project due to other priorities. We were very pleased with the end result and would recommend his company highly.”

“George and his associates did a fast, clean amd professional job for electrical work relating to a home remodel. Light fixtures & ceiling fans installed perfectly, new light switches, power & data receptables and dedicated outlets run cleanly with mininal wall scarring. I have used Harbour View Electric before and always been pleased with their work and best of all the prices are reasonable for the high quality. I will continue to use them for my upcoming projects and highly recommend.”

GIUDICI ELECTRIC
Specialty Contractors in Shirley.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars10 September 2013
“After Superstorm Sandy I was devastated. I called Glenn from Guidici Elec. and he was at my home practically as soon as the waters receded. He interceded with LIPA, our electric power company. He worked for virtually nothing, waiting for insurance money. He was completely honest, and has a supremely competent staff. Their first concern was my safety and my need for electricity. Since that time they have done extensive rewiring both in the house and bringing the power into the house. They have been working for me on and off for months, trying to get the house fixed. In addition, they are trustworthy and focused on their work. I can't imagine using any other electricians.”

“Della Electricians worked on my home panel. We had issues with a few breakers tripping. The owner Dee and his Electricians replaced the old panel and installed a new panel with new breakers. “My wife and I maintain a second home, a summer/weekend residence, on the North Fork of Long Island. While not our primary address, we consider it our most important real estate investment. That said, given the storms that we've begun to experience, in addition to the routine power outages that occur on the North Fork, we decided to investigate the installation of a permanent full house generator as a solution. I had done my own superficial research and learned that for our needs I was interested in a Generac Generator. I quickly found an ad for an outfit on the East End in our local paper and made an appointment. While the meeting was certainly pleasant enough, the contractor did not instill the confidence in me that I needed to proceed with this job. Not only was I interested in the specific mechanics of the unit, but even more importantly for me, what was the impact to my home and property? Where would we place the machine (I certainly had my own ideas!)? What would that mean to surrounding landscaping? Was my buried propane tank sufficient in size to fuel the generator. Since I have a finished basement, what impact would there be in that space? And with all of this "construction" what would my additional costs be to put my house and property back in finished shape? My wife and I decided to put the job on hold. The week following that appointment another ad appeared in the local newspaper placed by Rich Wright of AllWright Electric in Mattituck. I immediately called for an appointment. In our meeting Rich listened to our needs. He confirmed my feeling that Gererac was the product to use and what size unit we would need. He explained very clearly how the unit would operate, what we could expect, what the costs were, noise, and what impact the installation process would have on the house and property. He even went so far as to admit that there would be damage to our home and property that would need to be repaired (additional costs!!). We then went outside and discussed the placement of the unit, trenching, and exterior electrical box; all of which were very important to us since we wanted the generator to be as hidden as possible. Our generator has been installed and operational for over a month now. AllWright's service specialist Steve came over for a walk through with us. Noise is not as loud as was expected. Costs were EXACTLY what Rich had said they would be...no hidden expenses. And best of all, the job was the cleanest project ever done at and in my home...EVER! AllWright Electric's team was so neat and so skilled they never had to break through a ceiling or wall in my basement, they carefully and respectfully worked around and within our landscaping, they wore "booties" when in the house, and reconnected the electric power leaving my family confident that the job was done correctly and expertly. Our only additional expense was with my gas company to disconnect and reconnect the gas line to the tank. Rich, thank you for a job well done.”

“I hired Silent Guardian to install an alarm system, surveillance cameras and smart home features. They programmed universal remotes to sync with my Tv, music system, thermostat and blu-ray player. They were professional, courteous and arrived on time for the job. They treated my home with respect as if it were their own. They explained to me the work they were doing to my home before they did it in case I had any concerns but I did not. I'm excited to say that we have already discussed adding landscaping lighting in the spring.”

“Bill Holland repaired a set of dining room chairs for me and I couldn't be happier with the final product and customer service. He is a rare talent on LI and has been in the business for over 30 years. Bill had the chairs ready for me in time for my daughter's graduation party- they look like brand new chairs!! Definitely worth while to call him for a quote.”
