“Our family is in the middle of a kitchen remodel in our beach house. Prestige Stone has supplied and installed our Virginia Mist granite countertop and our subway tiles backsplash is next. We're so happy that our kitchen designer recommended Prestige Stone to us. Their showroom is filled with gorgeous stone, mosaics, and tiles of the latest trends as well as beautiful traditional ones. Angela, one of Prestige's designers, is managing our project. Angela is courteous, gracious, and thorough in working with us. There's no "Where are you, Angela?" She returns calls promptly and stays in touch regularly with email. Her regular communications and response to questions or concerns is central to the success of our project, for our primary home is 6 hrs from our South Carolina Low Country home. When we called concerned that our countertop wasn't quite lined up with a wall in one place, her immediate response was, "Not a problem; of course, we'll take care of that." She has an eye for textures and colors, readily explains pro's and con's of materials, and knows her store's products. I'll try to add pictures once the backsplash is in place.”

“Counterparts has fabricated and installed kitchens & baths for 2 of my homes and did beautiful work and they're a pleasure to work with. I've been in the countertop business for a long while and I can't speak more highly of Doug Dorkins and personally consider them to be the best quality fabricators in the region. they are not the cheapest, but certainly the best!”

“Tammy was an integral part of building our house in Beaufort. We worked with Tammy over several appointments to select tiles and countertops that met both our design aesthetic and budget. Her taste is impeccable and although her showroom is small she had great options to pick from. We were living abroad during the building of our house, and Tammy was very generous with her time when we were in town and flexible in the way that she communicated with us when we were out of the country. She was always responsive, even returning calls after business hours. And when our master bath tile was laid the wrong way, she went to the house to take pictures for us and make recommendations. She even offered to cover the extra expense of getting a different tile because she thought it would look better in the space. I would highly recommend Tileology to anyone who is building or renovating a house in the low country.”

“I stumbled on Kelca Counters after getting quite far along with another vendor, that quoted a much higher price. Kelca was willing to work with me and arranged for my picking the exact slabs on a trip to Atlanta. The pattern for the quartz (Cambria Summerhill) is beautiful and full of "pop", but has quite a bit of flow and I was worried about two seams in very visible locations. They adapted readily to my specific suggestions during the layout review. Difficulties during installation were handled professionally, and their installers went above and beyond what I expected. We are ecstatic about the results.”
