which carpet to go with ?

This is my living room. Looking to choose the right carpet the old carpet which went well with black leather sofa doesn’t seem to go with my steel blue leather sofa.

I am posting two carpet pictures let me know which one looks better the jute one or the flat single colour one.

Dear Natalie I think option b is the best. But you would need to keep the wall covered with the fabric, which can look nice and adds a lovely layer to the room. Curtains should start a few inches below the ceiling and go to the floor, this will make the room look bigger. Best Jenny
