Comments (19)You can check out the outdoor floor tiles like the Scala (Google Snap and Go tile) which are easy to piece additionally on the ground for a new look. ;) I saw another brand here, http://list.qoo10.sg/item/OUTDOOR-TIMBER-FLOOR-TILE-SINGAPORE-SELLER-100-AUTHENTIC-BEAUTIFUL/482453309 (not sure where this brand is from but they all work the same). They even have faux grass, stones as well as timber. Definitely easy to DIY, and you can combine different surfaces together if you want (stones and wood combo for example)....See MoreMatching black leather sofa
Comments (3)The key thing to think about is making sure the 2 sofas are different enough that it doesn't look like you tried to match them and failed. You want to make sure the shape of the arms is in the same style - rounded or square? do they go to the front edge of the seats or not? Also is the back a tight back or loose cushions? Make sure the new sofa has the same visual weight as the old one. If it's a heavy looking sofa, get another heavy looking sofa. Since the leather one is black, I'd go with a grey colour. It will look good with what you have and be easy to clean. Make sure the fabric is 100% polyester. That is more durable than fabrics with cotton in them....See MoreChoosing Paint Colors
Comments (1)How about some photos? What style? A mid-tone grey would look good with black sofas:...See MoreHow does this work? Making wall collages look good.
Comments (20)work out the wall space you want to cover, measure this on the floor. then start laying out our design within the space on the floor to create your design. There has to be lines running through the collage so there is a method to the madness- we don't want a messy looking arrangement, there must be a flow. You can line up the matts with outside edge of other frames etc. Layout all of your pics on the floor and mix up the frame styles and sizes amongst your layout. Take photos of your layout and then start hanging. My tip is don't start hanging until you have your plan 100% !!! lots of neck stretches too! i recently put together this collage and need a neck massage afterwards ;-)...See Morenasz
