I'm rebuilding my back yard with a curved pool. It's not a large back yard but by Marin County Ca. I suppose it is. However, some landscape architects have recommended a rectangular pool. Is it odd for me to feel that a rectangular pool has a more rigid appeal. My current pool is 50' x24' at the widest. Wide at the shallow and deeps end than narrowing in the middle.Gentle curves. Will the same size pool rectangularly "take over " the softness of the back yard which is predominantly grass and trees?
I've to make a decision pretty darn quick. I like the curved soft aspect but what's a pro say? Thank you, Jean, from Tiburon Ca
