This home is fabulous, right? The brick is from Pine hall. It is Chesapeake Pearl oversized.

I have stained concrete floors and not only do I love them... but 95% of everyone that walks in the door goes goo goo over them... Well, there was that one guest that waited a half hour before asking "So, when you do you think you'll be able to afford carpet?" .... So, this isn't a great pic, but you can see that we mixed black in and that there's a greenish border... Looking back, I would have done a different color had I given it more thought because it's a lot of work to change stained concrete... but painted concrete can be painted over and over... By the way...The lower level of my house is 1500 sq ft and I vacuum those concrete floors, all of them, in less than 15 minutes... I was 2 x's a year and including stripping the old wax, it only takes me about three hours! This shine when it's done is SO worth the 3 hours ...

You should add a bit of color with pillows - in colors that you like.- warm tones such as orange would be nice/ Adding side table lamps would also help. Luke, please keep some if the empty film canisters, they hold $17 in $1 coins, and are handy in the car's ash tray. I don't have enough $2 coins to advise of their value. Look at the storage container of everything you through out and just like the lady above with the nappy containers, often things are grossly over packaged and can be re-purposed.

Hi Patricia, these are the chairs above. The look I like the most is the second last photo below, but not big on maroon as have so many maroon rugs and its dominated over the years. I was trying to go for a mustard, as per the samples, but thinking it too might dictate too much. I don't know...go a plain grey, or a pattern with nice cream and green? Sorry what's a sneaker?
