Is it a regular built in closet in a room? That might have sheet rock walls? While paint is most commonly used, wallpaper can make a great accent inside a closet, maybe on one wall as an accent. Or you could tile a wall with mirrors and model each day's outfit!

I do not see the wall in the picture. I think the shades of grey on the floor and tile planter tile looks great. You might consider a light version of those. It really depends on the amount of light you have in the room.

I think you need to have a well defined entry - looks like there are three or four ways to get into the home. I actually wonder if the other side of the house, not shown in your photos, would make a better front side and this one a better back side.Glad your daughter is recovering.

What are the dimensions? If you are afraid space will be too tight, you could skip the table and just do a grand lounge area: start with a 4 to 5 ft diameter round or square coffee table, then surround that with a U shaped sectional.
