Hello I see the boards on the walls have live edges. How did you fit them together to create a seamless look! I have lots of live edge boards in our barn and I am trying to find a beautiful practical use for them. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you

I think if you select a wall color that is too well coordinated to the tile, it will only bring out the vibrant pattern in the tile. So pick colors you like. Let your personal style and the vibe of the rooms dictate the colors. Your walls, furnishings and accessories will take center stage so you won't really notice the tile. Area rugs will down play the tile too. Ceilings are a great opportunity to add color also.

Best way to configure this kitchen wall

I am planning a kitchen remodel, and I would like to fit a 33" double wall oven cabinet, 24" pantry cabinet, and 36" refrigerator (with 1.5" end panel) plus the 36" doorway into the dining room on a wall that is 132.5" long. I have had a few kitchen designers offer the following configurations: 1) Oven next to fridge (it's a double oven, not a single as pictured)- requires shifting doorway to dining room 6" to the right from it's current location 2) Oven in corner opening into kitchen- requires shifting the doorway to the dining room 3" to the left from current location 3) Oven in corner orientation flipped to side- no adjustment to dining room doorway needed Here is an overview of the entire layout, for more details Which option (if any) do you think would work best in the space and why? wall colour for living room

Hi all, Would like some suggestions regarding the wall colour on either side of the white panel. ( brown wall in the picture ) I have high ceilings and get a great amount of light. Was thinking should I go dark with deep navy, but not sure. Or should I stick to safe colours? Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Retaining wall railings

We have a raised patio with high retaining wall. Pavers sit on screening, caps are glued to the retaining wall below. Once it came to railing installation our contractor suggested driving 4x4 posts into the ground outside the wall and build railing onto these posts. I have never seen it done on such a high wall ( some sections are 5 feet tall). And I think it will just look ugly and take away from beautiful stone. Someone else suggested side mounting? Looking for advice on products/ railings we can use at this point.
