Philippine Beach House

I Love your designs! Do you work outside Indonesia or make suggestions including house design. Is there an architect you can suggest? We have a 1,000sq meter lot but it is long with approximately 15.24 width. Would greatly appreciate a response.

Contemporary, since the furniture is such. Colours which ever go with the present furniture, orange and white sofa and same shade of orange is there for the kitchen cabinets (open kitchen)

Leather will stand up to kids much better than cloth will. Another option that would be nice is a fabric sofa with a slipcover made of jeans denim. A friend of mine had one made of jeans she found in thrift stores. It looked cool, was very sturdy and everything the kids subjected the slipcover to added "character." IKEA has some good modular leather options.

I really like pale grayish sage with white. Also a cool greenish aqua for a soothing look to the bath. White or gray Corian counter. If it's a low-use bath such as a powder room, white marble would be lovely for the counter. Rug or mat on the floor with a nice pattern to hide spills, dog hair, etc. If you have a window, lovely drapes, custom shade or match-stick blinds would help warm the space. Finally, if you have a bathtub, a custom shower curtain will really dress up the space and add character/warmth. Yes, wonderful question - so many beautiful features from so many eras. I love mid century beach houses, clean lines, timber and stone, a open staircase to a mezzanine bedroom loft, flowing out to a deck of ocean view ... If you can imagine what Mike and Carol Brady's beach house would possibly look like (?) .. this would be my ultimate!
