Need help with flooring
Comments (5)If the tile scratched in this location, any paint that you attempted to apply would scratch worse, as well as chip and peel. Ceramic tile is rarely or never painted and I have never heard it attempted on a floor. I wouldn't try it myself for fear of making the situation worse. What about washable, inexpensive cotton rag rugs? They can look very nice and you just throw them in the wash with towels or jeans depending on the color you select. Another inexpensive option would be floating a laminate floor, such as wood look planks....See MoreHelp!! Matched wrong tiles with mosaic cove at bathtub. How can I make
Comments (7)Maybe these will help you in making lemonade out of the lemon (which I don't think it is)Where else are you putting the beige tiles? And where are you putting the mosaic.Perhaps ramping up the black in accents will legitimize the beige and blackhttps://www.houzz.com/photos/jane-lockhart-interior-design-kylemore-model-home-dublin-traditional-bathroom-toronto-phvw-vp~1267669...See MoreHow can I hide an existing column in the kitchen
Comments (5)You could use the column for something useful like hanging utensils or cooking tools if you have the height or a towel rack or if you want to just hide it you could put fairy lights on/around it to give a homely feel.my personal opinion would be if there is a ledge you should get some vintage alcohol bottles and put them there as decoration and it works nice in most households.if no ledge just get a wine rack and screw it to the column...See MoreWood tiled floor or marble tiled floor for my bathroom?
Comments (9)Wood and Marble are both non-porous thus it would cause etching and corrosion. Besides that, marble are high maintenance materials as they require high maintenance. In the long run, wooden looking tiles (made of porcelain or ceramic) would be more practical. You can also consider marble looking quartz. You may check out the D & L series of iQuartz range. If you're based in Singapore you may call Stone Amperor in +65 87879029 for more information.
