What would you do to modernise this dated facade?
Comments (2)Here are a few examples of modern sidewalks. I think that I would replace, stain or cover the entry sidewalk with large rectangles of concrete or stone. I would also replace the door with a more modern door. Perhaps you could just paint the door that you have but definately remove the storm door or replace it. Paint the trim & facia a charcoal color would be nice. I think in the entryway I would cover the brick with a horizontal wood plank stained in a rich color and replace the light fixture. Comments (7)Are these your chairs? They are pretty good looking. You can go with something like a round copper-topped table, use them as a host and hostess chair in a formal dining setting, or as parlor/library occasional chairs. Those would be a few great uses for them. They are very nice and can either go rustic, craftsman, lodge or traditional in the right environment....See Morewhat color should we paint the wall?
Comments (0)Hi, I would like to get some suggestions on the color of the wall. We love the wood panelling. Our bed is wood so would like a lighter wall color. I’m thinking of a cream but I don’t want boring cream. Please help as I’ve had bad experience in paint which looked light on the chart but really dark once painted....See MoreIdeas for wood cladding on wall and ceiling
Comments (3)Thanks Sugarbakers, I wanted to know if anyone has experience doing such a job or can recommend someone who has done it for them. Also wanted to find if there was more than one way to achieve the same look - e.g. vinyl tiles, laminates, tiles etc - and their application in both outdoor and indoor areas and the cost per sq ft for the different options. I'm considering installing this on approx 2000+ sq ft ceiling area including outdoor areas. Thanks again for your earlier reply....See MorePremier Cabinets of Virginia, LLC
