I need help to plan my hall and balcony
Comments (1)Talk to a professional. I think there are building codes for steps. A 4" step might be too short and cause people to lose balance & trip. Can you install a longer window? A longer window with seats to enjoy the view? Binoculars on a tripod to encourage viewing or stargazing with comfy chairs, too?...See MoreHelp!! I have a large family.
Comments (6)I have a table by Lyndon Furniture, handmade in Lyndonville, VT which is an oval 48" x 72" regulatly, but with two 18" leaves it extends to 108". At six feet, w/o leaves, it seats six comfortably. At 7 1/2 feet, it seats 8 comfortably, and at 9 feet it can seat 12-14, depending on the size of the chairs. Since it is an oval, we have had 14 people sitting at on holidays. With servings dishes on a side table, it is more than adequate for that many people....See MoreNeed help creating an industrial feel that's still cozy

In fact, if there's already a really secure junction box there already i bet they may even go with a ceiling fan light combo if that's what you really want...See MoreNeed Help with 3 Room BTO Reno!
Comments (6)Beside the sequence of events, you need to know the timeline as in how long for each stage. Start selecting your tiles and sanitary wares for your kitchen and toilets as it will take sometime to agree (I am assuming you have to discuss with your family) on the colors and design of the tiles, the type of taps, mixers etc. Also think about where you want to locate your switches and lightings. If you are getting refrigerator with auto ice maker, you need to decide the position as well so your contractor put a water and power point near it. All these take a lot time for decision when you have a few persons to discuss and decide. Dun get into a situation where your contractor tells you they are waiting for you to get to the next stage and put the delay to you and you will be forced to make hasty decisions. Good luck and hope you have a beautiful home when it completes....See MoreJAN MOYER
