Master bedroom furniture with a brick wall
I need new furniture that will go with a brick wall in our master bedroom. I was thinking upholstered, tufted, but need ideas for a color and also for nightstands. (The floor isn't really that yellow). Thank you!

6 years agoSince you have a lot of color in the brick wall, I would go with a light grey, cream, or white headboard and night stands. Here are some suggestions:

Comments (27)You already have your accent colour as your sofa pillows (log roll pillows). I would take one of them shopping with me to get a rug that has that colour in it. It doesn't need to be a lot of that colour (I love the idea of burgandy rug here...but it might be too much with your monotone scheme). 6 years agoI actually think something light would disappear into that wall -- I think you might almost need a black, or at least wrought iron, headboard to really be able to see it...

6 years agoI think we are going to go with an upholstered headboard with nail heads. Like a beige, cream color. And then a rustic wood footboard. I need to work on the color for that. Great idea for having the vintage wood nightstands! Should I match that color to the footboard? And do you still recommend the lamps above? Color? Height? I honestly don't think gray/black colors for a rug....

6 years agoNoticed your brick wall really clashes with the flooring so I have added a wash to the wall and superimposed the beds in from. BTW the lamps are too short. 30" minimum
