Do you have any photos? that might be easier to help... But for light, white window coverings i like these, they could work for you -

Hi Olivia Chng, If you are facing this kind of problems, you could try to install curtains on your bedroom. Normally blinds is not really suitable for bedroom, because blinds cant really fully cover the lighting. Blackout curtains (100% blocking the light) or Dimout curtains (80%-90% blocking the light). Adding curtains to the windows (and even doors) gives you an additional layer of insulation and can even bring down your power bills in the long run. Since you already installed blinds, you can try to combine with curtains, please check the following link for more information: https://www.facebook.com/innovahomedec/posts/921948654569170 I hope my reply can solve your current problems. Hi Jim, you definitely should have a look at the Windows contractors in the Houzz Singapore professional directory, and contact them directly: https://www.houzz.com.sg/professionals/windows/c/singapore I'm pretty sure many of them will be able to do black frames, as it's a popular style recently.

I am doing a project researching on the anatomy/structure of window frames. May I know why are there some slants/curvatures in the chamber design of the frame? What is the function of that design structure? Does that affect the window structurally or thermally?
