Where to buy living room furniture?

Hi there!

I recently moved to Singapore and would like to purchase some furniture for my condo.

The only furniture store I know is IKEA, but would like to purchase something nicer. On the other hand, I do not want to spend a fortune on furniture.

Could you recommend some furniture stores that are higher end than IKEA but not too luxurious?

I saw some furniture shops at IMM and Big Box in Jurong east. Quality, no idea as I never been buy any furniture (I'm just renting a room).

if you're looking for some cushions to furnish your living room, i would recommend you to get from an cushion online retailer in singapore called 1001cushions

I'm assuming since he's recommended 5 panels, they will all be stacking to one side? If you were to have each side stack, then an even number would make sense. If they are stacking to one side, then five is better, as it is an odd number (better visually) and one less panel to stack back. You might want to tell us more about where these doors are going and perhaps even send us some pictures. If we can see what you are addressing we would be able to give you an answer that goes beyond conjecture.

Hello Cody, If the TV isn't going on the mantle wall than the only other available wall is the 13'5" wall. You might think about moving the TV to this wall and balancing it with art or plants. Your sofa can be turned with its back to the entrance/stairs and a small console table can be placed behind it to act as a visual stop. Your chair can be placed where the sofa currently sits or you could add a pair of new chairs to this area near the stair alcove which would create a smaller seating cluster there. Small benches could be placed in front of the fire for additional seating, when and if necessary. This one is a challenge, but if you don't mind the TV as focal point and the sofa perpendicular to the fireplace, this could work. put the tv and console within the recessed area, and center the furniture there. add an area rug. and curtains that go floor to ceiling over the windows. im not sure what is concerning you there. if you plan to renovate just dry wall over the recessed area.

The new look is more white with wooden furniture and straight edges. For living room, clear white table and add more modern modern accessories in metal. The pink needs to be replaced with a brown or a mustard yellow cover(to make it stand out but yet within a warm tone). Beige sofa can have 2 cushions on each corner to neaten up. I am aware of a Singapore e-commerce brand called Bed and Basics and you could consider them if you are looking to have a home enhancement or refurbishment in future! They sell an extensive range of furniture and their products are actually really affordable compared to other brands, hence I would highly recommend them. Some of their sofas are in line with what you are seeking (luxurious), so perhaps you could take a look if you are interested!
