"Need help for 3rd Floor of my House
Comments (7)So you just want to enclose the top area to make it a place to sleep? Does it need to have a kitchen and bathroom or just a sleeping area? I am not an architect but you might want to ask more direct questions like " How can I enclose this upper floor to make it livable?". It looks like you live in a very mild climate. Perhaps you should put up wood walls with windows that match the design on the balcony panels. I am not a builder so I hope someone else has some ideas for you....See MoreI need help to plan my hall and balcony
Comments (1)Talk to a professional. I think there are building codes for steps. A 4" step might be too short and cause people to lose balance & trip. Can you install a longer window? A longer window with seats to enjoy the view? Binoculars on a tripod to encourage viewing or stargazing with comfy chairs, too?...See MoreCan't add Bookmarklet to Firefox
Comments (7)Hi George! The bookmarklet page has changed a little bit since this post was first started. 1. Visit http://www.houzz.com/buttonsAndBadges#houzzButtons and scroll down a little bit to find the "Save to Ideabook" Houzz Button. 2. Drag the "Save to Ideabook" to your Firefox Toolbar 3. Visit another site that you'd like to Save an image from and click the "Save to Ideabook" bookmarklet. If you're still running into problems installing the toolbar, could you contact support and let us know which version of Firefox and Operating System you're using? Hope this helps! -Jian...See MoreHow can I spice up my boring balcony?
Comments (8)Artificial turf! The green (they come in different colours, too, if you'd like to be psychedelic) adds a lively pop of colour to a blah space, and they're designed in easy-to-install tile-style units that have some built-in drainage for minimal maintenance. Absolut Outdoors and Green Turf can tell you more :) And I'd hang an outdoor art piece or a screen for air plants on that blank wall, too, to enliven your balcony....See Morecfillyaw
