I have a table by Lyndon Furniture, handmade in Lyndonville, VT which is an oval 48" x 72" regulatly, but with two 18" leaves it extends to 108". At six feet, w/o leaves, it seats six comfortably. At 7 1/2 feet, it seats 8 comfortably, and at 9 feet it can seat 12-14, depending on the size of the chairs. Since it is an oval, we have had 14 people sitting at on holidays. With servings dishes on a side table, it is more than adequate for that many people.

In Singapore, some of us grew up hearing the phrase "go to the toilet" used frequently, in reference to the space in the home where we wash ourselves. The word toilet however, should be more accurately used to describe the physical object which we use to answer nature's calls. Of course, in certain circumstances, the word toilet is still being used, especially with reference to public variations of that space. The NEA uses the phrase "Public Toilets" as opposed to "public bathrooms". Which do you use, or have used more frequently? Toilets or Bathrooms? Keep these differences in mind when doing a search for bathroom inspirations on our Photos page!

Hi, I agree with Gary, do a hotel setting to make it more appealing. Here’s an idea. Remove the partition, move the closet down and add a big slider freeing up the space for a spacious bedroom with lounge seating/dining by the window. Think about the tv wall where it can have a proper work desk space. And do you have balcony? Perfect !

Hi Happy CNY! some rough sketch with my phone... Need to modify some walls. BR 2/3 closet best in between the rooms. Your daugter room, bed facing the window with study desk behind. The boys room will a custom double deck, youngest sleep below, 2 older ones on top. near the window will have the study desk under. At Master, 2 closet at entry, dresser, bed facing window, writing desk. Kitchen fridge, cook, sink well located, wash by window, shoe cabinet at entrance, Dining have L- banquet seat to maximize space , Living tv at wall, sofa at window, armchair, carpet rug, console table - these are just my ideas and I know it can be better, hope this starts your journey to your wonderful home
