Did you also design the pool?

I love it and we're going to build a new pool in our new house. That pool has so many of the features I want. Can I ask what the size is? And can you give a ballpark estimate so I know that I'm being realistic? Thanks, love your work.

Hi Kathy! Yes I designed the pool and built it for a client we had originally done the landscape for. The intent was to make it feel as if it had all been done at the same time... really pleased with how it turned out.

The pool is only about 23x15. It’s hard to “ball park” how much it might cost for you until I see the space and what would be required to execute it. Base pool and spa is going to start around $45,000-$50,000... decking, tile, features, landscape, etc... and the price obviously goes up from there.

I’m happy to meet with you to discuss what your options are and what sort of budget you’d be looking at.

Thank you for replying. Our house will be finished late April. Would love to talk to you but nothing is set in stone yet, right now we’re just dreaming. 🙂

Hi Few points: 1. It's not an independent residential apartment. It is a flat in a 25storey block 2. I have attached the floor plan for reference. The entrance is not too huge. 3. It's good to know that you guys have liked the Bathroom & kitchen design. The tiling work is in progress and it has come out well. I will take few snaps and post 4. When I say resort look - I understand and mean a simplistic natural looking design. More towards wood, nature, green, matt finish etc... Hope i am not confusing anyone here 5. Do you think the bathroom & kitchen design gels with what I mean by resort look. 6. The foyer area is a small (not too big) entrance. It's like a passage as you can see in the pics I posted earlier. When you enter you don't see the entire living room rather you see the wall (kitchen wall), where we intend to keep our dining table. Some thoughts on designing that wall is also requested Thanks!

Wow. Do you really want to exclude women by saying this chair is for men? Or that women "just don't understand?" I guess you don't know that women decide on most of the furniture purchases? By the way, we have a leather chair, and I am usually the one sitting in it, not my husband, so their goes that theory.

Hi Emmarene; thanks for your suggestion. I am with you that I feel water proof lights is the only way to go here really. Also, you are quite right: recessed lights are not an option (the existing cavities are not deep enough, and contractors are rightfully apprehensive about drilling deeper as they fear they may affect the wasterproofing). The lights you are suggesting - flat square/rectangular - is exactly what I have been looking for, but to no avail. Are these specimen that you came across waterproof? Could you kindly send me the link to the sources/vendors if possible? Cheers!
