Loved the vanity and wall paper

How many inches should you leave on either side of cabinet when its floating between two walls. My space has 50 inches. Thanks so much

Hi Julia, There's not an official rule here. If you like the amount of space on either side of the vanity in this picture, then for your space (50") I would recommend a 42" vanity.

Thank you. The vanity I am looking at is wall mounted and comes in 36 or 44. What would you suggest.

I have used Lumicor or 3Form resin panels for this application many times. The resin panels are translucent, letting light in but are still private. They are two panels with flat materials between them; like grass, rice paper, fabrics, metals, strings, bamboo, wood veneers, it is endless. Check both companies websites for different options of panels. Here are some examples. Another idea could be textured glass, like rain or water glass.

These are the color we are going to choose from. Our living room got one side is all window as shown in the picture. One side has two doors towards kitchen and a small storage room. We would like to put the Sofa in the middle to divide the living room into living area and dining area. Also we would like to paint the wall into a different shades than the rest of the room. if you lighten the cabinets etc, then the stone will appear more prominent. if that is what you want, that is fine. I sensed that you did not like the current counter. I would contact a marble/granite installer to see if they think that the cracks can be filled and polished out. it is pretty common to do this on new installations if it is feasible. they may try to charge you as as much as you would spend on a fabricating a counter out of a new slab if they did not do the original installation.

Hi Carol, the vanity is from the Robertson collection from Signature Hardware, and it's still an active collection. It comes in several sizes and colors.
