Different coloured ceiling fans

Does it matter if you have different coloured ceiling fans for inside (black) and outside (white)? The spaces are small and connect to one another. And I was thinking the same type of fan also but will this look weird? The outside space is very small (3 by 3 balcony) so hoping to keep it white so it doesn't stand out. Black definitely looks better inside.

Sounds fine to me. Remember the days where each room had its own strong colour or even diff wallpaper

What do you think of a mirror for the backsplash on the kitchen? You cant see the pic here, but it faces a huge window on the other side of the room. I love the idea of grey/ dark cabinets, (with a wood coloured surface worktop) but might cost a small fortune to rework it. Will check on prices. The wallpaper idea is also really nice - much to mull through. so hard to decide! I'm thinking of replacing the dining table set with a booth + round table seating and maybe add a mirror behind it space. Not sure if i can fit a whole L booth into the dining space and still fit in a table, so might just settle for a booth on one side.

I take it this isn't your bathroom. The glass could be handmade lead light which means bespoke by someone who makes lead light windows or it could be a transfer applied to a plain glass window. Check on ebay or online sticker/transfer stores for similar. I've never seen a piece like that in Australia so I'm thinking this might be an American antique. It's not normal to put an expensive antique piece in a bathroom and if you did it would be best in a bathroom that only has minimal use. And you would want to have a lot of good exhaust extraction to get rid of moisture. If you picked up one of those repro Indonesian mahogany pieces you would be spending a lot less money and might regard the piece as expendable. You can buy wood hardening sprays that resist moisture from the hardware store and spray the carcass (all the unstained pieces inside) with this stuff to resist moisture. You'd still need a good exhaust system however and keep the room well aired.

If you wanted the fan to stand out as a feature you could go with a bold colour like black otherwise blend in to the ceiling you would go white. But I would say, personal choice.
