i REALLY LIKE THE FAUX FINISH IT LOOKS LIKE VENETION PLASTER, BUT I AM HOPING IT IS NOT I WANT TO DO A FINISH THAT GIVES THE LOOK OF VENTION PLASTER, BUT I AM INTIMIDATED BY THE VENITION PROCESS, ANY HELP?

The Venetian process can be intimidating, the process is executed without fault by professionals. However, tone on tone faux can be accomplished by many. The main goal is to create an organic look and subtle variances across the wall. Practice with samples. Here it appears that the lap lines created the only movement in the blend. Beautiful tones in the bronze colors, only achieved by tone on tone blending.

I was also sure this was a faux finish but in looking closer I'm quite sure it's wall paper. I personally am going to use textured wall paper in my French Country kitchen to mimic the venetian plaster look. There are fabulous textured wall papers and a new paper that is textured, but you paint it yourself.

Since you have white and black windows, fans, doors, gates, you need a light tan beige rather than an off white cream - off white will just look dirty next to the white. Something that goes warm neutral instead of yellow will work well. Tropical can mean lots of different things to different people - pick one accent color - a lagoon type green-blue-green with large leafy palms, and add a sail shade (triangle shaped) in the same tone to the upper deck.

I believe it really depends on the look that you are going for. If it's the modern country or the really rustic country style. I personally feel that EDL has something that is nice and it's called light grey walnut. Pair it with some white and gold elements and you can have a very stylize country-chic space.

I have a weird looking bathroom design. It is very compact and has two doors.. Plan to cover up the door near to the basin... and keep the door near to shower. This is kinda weird to enter Facing the shower. Any suggestion how to design the interior..? What can I alter to make everything make sense... hope I can install a glass divider to separate the shower and the toilet... just can’t desire how to do it...

This also could be a suede finish that is done in a wide circular motion. I have seen it done and it gave a very similar look. However, it appears as though this could have a little bit of a metallic finish in it.

Looks like Luster Stone Antique Parchment maybe, the wall paint looks like Sherwin Williams Latte 6108 (sorry but it isn't a venetian plaster)

Christine, Trust me this is not a wall paper and the type of paper you are referring to will not give you a venetian plaster look either. The characteristics of this finish does not reflect a typical venetian plaster or a simple glazing as the dry lines are much lighter in tone as what would be the "wet area". This comes from an inexperienced applicator which is often seen with a metalic type plaster product and there are three that come to mind that I will not mention here. The dry lines are caused by two things "compression" and/or "overlap" The color is beautiful which I am very familiar with also as I have applied miles of this stuff, but without the dry lines.
